I have a diabetic cat, Mina. She only needs 3 units of insulin twice a day. The 1 ml/cc syringes usually have 2 unit increments, so it’s hard to accurately draw off an odd number. In addition, with such a small dose, I barely feel the plunger move and have to look at the barrel to be sure it’s empty. I needed a thinner syringe, so the markings could be in smaller increments. This company makes 0.5 and 0.3 ml syringes. This was perfect for me and Mina. The 0.3 ml size actually shows half unit markings, so I feel comfortable drawing off the 3 units Mina needs. Injecting her also feels better, as I feel the plunger move and know the insulin has gone under her skin. I have used 30 syringes so far, and the quality of the syringes is excellent. I find the insulin draws in easily and none of them has failed to perform perfectly. I definitely recommend these syringes if you need an accurate dose of a small amount. The photo shows a syringe loaded with 3 units.

Great quality at a good price.

Great syringes for measuring tiny amounts. They do take a bit longer to draw up oily medications (e.g., testosterone), but the trade off is you can barely feel the injection.

The lines are big enough to measure the insulin properly, took awhile for my pet to get used to the 1/2 “ needle but now she just sits and waits, very readable

Bend easily so be careful. They are great for the price and quantity you receive in one box. Will be repurchasing.
