Malt-O-Meal WHEAT Cereal, Original, 36 Oz

Creamy, warm, good-for- you cereal with a nummy toasty taste. Way better than cream of wheat, oatmeal, & grits. Super easy to cook: boil 1 cup of water, sprinkle in 3 tablespoons of malt-o-meal, stir on low heat for approximately 5 minutes & Whal-lah! It's done! Add a little tiny dab of butter, sweeten with sugar, & add some milk. Num num! A box lasts a long time; many many bowls & many weeks of tasty breakfasts. Excellent value for the money!

Malto Meal got to try a recipe my cousin Mimi created. Eggs, milk eggs & milk are cold u add them to the malt o Meal in a sauce pan with butter or margarine, brown sugar & I added vanilla. Follow the box instructions per quantity of milk & malt o Meal My cousin Victoria told me about this recipe her mother Mimi gave her. To cook breakfast for her kids. Similar to stirred custard. Yummy. I added vanilla. Good value has iron. Wheat cereal that u cook: a different option to oat meal.

Same Malto Meal chocolate flavor I’ve known and enjoyed for decades. But can’t get in SoCal for some unknown reason. It’s really delicious! I bought the 4 pack as that was the most economical because the pricing was the cheapest from other sellers. Some of the prices are outrageous- those sellers should be ashamed of themselves. Even with the 4 pack I purchased it isn’t a good value hence the 1 star. But I ended getting the 4 pack for free because the knucklehead that boxed it up didn’t think of putting bubble wrap inside. So what ended up happening during shipment is the boxes inside became squished and the pour spouts opened. Guess what happened? Yep, chocolate cereal ALL OVER THE PLACE! I could smell the chocolate cereal even before I opened up the outer box so I knew something happened. So Amazon refunded me. Next time package with care. It was good to taste chocolate malto meal again with the one good box. Delicious!!

Love my Malt O Meal from childhood on. I'm nearly seventy now and never skipped a beat. For some reason the stores were out for awhile, it was nice to get some here at that time.

I really wish I was still able to find Malt O Meal in the stores!! 😭 Not sure if they’ve stopped production, or are just selling it in bulk like this. But it should be about $5 a box. Anything more is just price gouging. All that being said, this was a good product, fresh, well within its expiration date and was the real deal. I’ve used up over three of my boxes already. Super yummy comfort food.

I love the stuff from when I was a kid and it’s nice to be able to get it now that I’m adult insured with my kids. It is so expensive anywhere else it’s not that cheap here but anywhere else a lot more so it’s nice to be able to get some every once in a while.
