Dermacool 100g Menthol In Aqueous Cream Plus

For the past 3-4 years, I've had idiopathic hives. I bought this on a whim and it works great to calm them when they flare up. Works for all itching. Another thing that helps for hives, (though counter intuitive) is to over-stimulate with heat (e.g., cover in water as hot as you can stand, but not scalding) and keep in place for 30 minutes or more. Hurts/itches like crazy, but will temporarily exhaust the antihistamine production in the affected area so you can have a few hours of relief. I get hives on my palms and this is the only way to treat them.

I have been using this product for at least a year, if it more, for my daughter who breaks out into hives/welts. It does WONDERS for her itching and cools her skin immediately ensuring that the itching stops right away. Phenomenal product and I highly recommend it!!

Nice cooling cream. Caveat, on certain body parts can feel very hot at first, but after a few minutes it gets cold and feels nice for hours.

Menthol works better than ANY other ingredient to relieve an itch and this brand uses more menthol than any other brand I have ever tried. The reason for 4 stars, and not 5, is that the relief isn't as long-lasting as I would have hoped for. That said, I have purchased 3 more tubes, and use the product on my back every day. The tube itself is a good quality, with easy dispensing, and the solution inside the tube is well-made, greaseless, non-staining, and clean.

Works great, I can't really find in US, really hope to find a bigger size and the one that is 5%
