This is a handy pocket level.
I really like this level for quick jobs and the magnetic tip is handy for when you drop screws. The level is nice and easy to read and a small size is makes it convenient to leave in your pocket while you're working.

Ok for a pocket level
If it had a magnetic base it would be more useful. The level lines wear off the front facing area of the capsule though. Otherwise it works fine.

You'll use this more than you know
PIcked this up since i have at some point lost my previous smaller spirit level. The previous one I had was just a block of aluminum with the bubble on top. Accurate and simple. I had some smaller projects that my 8" level just would not fit on, so i found this one.A great tool to have. This level is accurate and unobtrusive. I really like the clip so i can keep it handy, and the magnet is pretty strong. I picked up my 8oz hammer with no trouble as a test, and if i dropped a nail I could easily retrieve it. It now has a strong place in my tool box, and i'll try to keep track of this one!

Nice little pocket level.
This a replacement for I had just like it for many years. I like it due to being able to see the bubble from the top and sides. The groove in the bottom makes it to easy to balance on small items or pipes. Great level for installing thermostats and other small wall mounted items.the magnet has helped me out a few times getting small metallic items out of tight places, and the clip does a good job of keeping it on my pocket.

Good magnet, and OK level
A 5" spirit level isn't going to be highly accurate. But when you're working in tight spaces a small level is better than nothing at all. This unit came in handy when I added some built-in DVD storage shelves in my living room between the wall studs. DVD boxes are only 5-1/2" deep, and leveling the shelves was a head-scratcher until this thing came up in my Amazon searches. With a bit of tapping to get the bubble to settle after small changes the pocket level got the job done.Interestingly enough, I got a surprising amount of use out of the magnet even though I hadn't considered it when buying the unit. An open wall cavity is just a magnet (pun intended) for dropped nails, and a decent magnet helps greatly in fishing them out. The unit's magnet is more than adequate for grabbing dropped 8d nails.
