Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've Had it for a month , so far so good , great sound quality and build quality, app has a great 31 band eq and the control for each rca output is good , lets you adjust level frequency cutoff and slope , i have a 4 channel amp hooked up for voice and a mono amp for bass and its great , no weird sounds and good voltage output, highly recommend it if in a budget

Great quality
Pioneer never fails when it comes to sound quality. I finally decided to replace my old head unit that was about 20years old and didn't have Bluetooth, so it was time, especially since our new phones didn't have an aux jack to plug into the old unit. Bluetooth has excellent sound quality, and I enjoy the different colors you can choose from to customize the display. Currently, I have this installed on an amp, and with this head unit, the same amp that the old unit was hooked up to, and the bass is 10x better, and now I'm going to have to replace the speakers so they can handle the what this unit puts out.

Color matched lighting option, easy to setup
This is my first aftermarket car stereo in 20+ years and well, I'm disappointed. Does it work? Yes. Does it accomplish the task i wanted? Yes. Am i loving it? No. It's a solid little unit, easy to install, easy to setup, but the overall sound from it leaves me less than impressed. I installed it into a 88 4runner, currently topless and added both an amp for the four main speakers and one for a dedicated sub (JL 10w0). I have only one real complaint and it's that i can't see the screen 90% of the time during daylight hours. I blame this partially on the car as the unit points upwards at a slight angle, and ostial on the unit itself with it's bulbous outer plastic where the display is. It's nigh impossible to see what source I've selected, the title (meh), or basically anything unless I'm in the shade or hold my open palm near it to cast a shadow. The app is useful and also useless outside of initial audio setup, but I think others may enjoy the extra features. Pay attention to bt audio vs bt app when selecting the source! I'm an idiot and didn't realize it and got really annoyed several times i couldn't stream without "connecting the app". Best thing- color choices on led lights. I did mention it's nearly impossible to see in daylight, but at night i love that i got the backlights and buttons to match my (upgraded to led) green factory lighting.

It's pioneer man
What can I say that you don't already know it's PIONEER that's why your considering it easy to use Bluetooth connection is very fast and there is a app that makes it all even better money well spent If you like full control of your sound there is no better quality than pioneer the rest cannot compete

perfect for under $200
Short and simple.. easy to install (2013 honda insight) the bluetooth works very well. Connects for me every time.. the colors for head unit look really good. And its easy to read the display screen. You can customizethe colors to fit your preferences.. I like the fact that their are so many ways to customize the audio to fit my needs. (Adjusting the base is simple just make sure your speakers can handle the strongest settings) Sound quality is really good. And I use the hands free calling regularly.. just make sure u place the mic in a proper area.. (mine is in the pic). The built in alexa for navigation is a great add on..For a head unit under 200 you can't beat it.. for a single din head unit I definitely recommend this

Quality control must be sleeping.
3 in a row, all do the same thing. Change stations all by themselves either FM or Sirius, same thing. The last one started doing in before I got it screwed into the dash. Terrible quality from what used to be a high end company.
