I bought this for my son, who along with me, plays the Batman Arkham games. He really enjoyed it, and appreciated how it stayed true to the game continuity.

Compelling narrative
I when it originally released as a DC2 Multiverse app (a now-defunct motion comic with storyline branching) this comic was an exciting experience with the added incentive of tying in to the then-new Arkham game and adding a DLC skin bonus. The book in question today is the digital edition of the trade paperback of the interactive digital comic, so a lot gets lost here. Animations and sounds are sadly gone, which is partially what connected it to the Arkham game to begin with. It’s still a choose your own adventure style story, but it simply doesn’t feel as exciting when you have to turn the pages manually. The story is easily the hi-light of this book. Batman’s ongoing monologue as he establishes himself as a presence in Gotham makes for a fascinating read. Even without the Arkham Origins connection it would be exciting. In fact, while the story features many characters from Arkham Origins, it doesn’t rely on that backstory, nor does it much add to the greater narrative. The book could have effectively been an independent publication.Where the story falls short is in the nature of the choices the reader makes. Many of the outcomes have seemingly arbitrary and unpredictable outcomes that are frustrating to a reader who tries to think like the Batman. While it reflects the idea that a lot of what this inexperienced Batman relies on is luck, it doesn’t make for a satisfying experience. The various story branches doesn’t make for an especially cohesive overall experience either. It feels like there should have been one or two more chapters to tie together all the arcs. This is still an interesting read, and better than a lot of the other tie-in Arkham comics. It’s a shame that this is the only digital format in which it still exists.

Fun story, but pages don't line up
I wanted to enjoy this particular addition to the Bat man Mythos, and it was very well written and thought out, but the pages didn't line up with what you were told to turn to. Hopefully, this may be fixed and re-released.

Great content
Great content from the very expensive collector's edition. Recommended for the fans of the series.

Get past the page navigation to enjoy a good Batman read
As noted by Mr. Willis, the navigation to the proper page in the 'choose your fate' format is problematic on a Kindle (app on Android in my case). The story and art are well done, and ties in well with the game as well as established Batman lore. The workaround I used for the page skipping is to double tap the screen (which takes it from zooming into consecutive panels per page turn, to turning the entire virtual page per page turn). This allows you to flip through faster and you can read the page numbers on the pages themselves (not unlike you would need to do with a physical copy). The downside is that you can see the "Dead End" pages on the way; though if you count as you scroll, you can skip pages before they load the image on your screen and save the spoiler.

A bit confusing...
It is enjoyable but not smooth. Essentially you read some pages, make a decision between two optiosn and jump to another section, often to find that decision would have got bats killed.

BATMAN Arkham Origins Graphic Novel Review
Young. Inexperienced. Untested. Before his one-man war to save the soul of Gotham city truly began, the vigilante known as Batman was new to its dark streets. Though his mind ,body , spirit & arsenal of crime-fighting gear had all been honed to near-perfection, his methods were unproven, his errors costly. Enjoy batman villains Black Mask & Penguin, Riddler, Firefly etc. As the reader of BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS, you will decide whether Batman succeeds or fails in his quest to clean up the city-or even stay alive, this new element can be annoying when you just want to read the story.
