Great product, highly suggest buying.

These are great, but wish they didn't cost almost $50 on top of the mask that is already $200. I think that DYE should include a clear lense and a tinted lense for the price point of $200. I overall wish the prices of their lenses were cheaper.

Great lens for specific weather. I purchased this alongside of the HD Thermal Yellow Lens because the Smoked HD Lens that shipped with my i4 was too dark to play with the current weather where I am located.While this lens is great it can really only be used in certain settings. I would prefer to use this lens during light contrast or cloudy days. When it is raining or snowing as well this lens also works great. The only issue with this lens is it does not work very well in bright sunny areas.I can't say whether or not it is the material or perhaps the color of the lens itself but there is quite a lot of glare in overly sunny conditions. I found myself blinded by light a few times while playing and while these lens look great from the outside there is no point in wearing them in broad day light if you can't see a thing.Still 5 stars though because I did my research on what type of lens to use for this mask in certain conditions. I figured I would give it a shot in daylight anyway to see if my experience matched what others have said and I can safely say I agree with them when they say it is not good for bright areas.Oh I will also say there is a light reflective coating on the outside of the lens so when you are looking at it from certain angles you cannot see the eyes of the person wearing it. Definitely makes for a cool effect.

Ok so I have a lot to say so here I go.First off I have the base all black Dye i4s. The Dyetanium mirror lens (the other mirror) is a light silver while this is darker. I put this and the other mirror lens next to each other and I noticed that this has a very dark mirror. It is hard to see in the picture but this is like the color of the smoke lens but with a mirrorI have worn this and used it during rainy, cloudy, snowy, and very sunny conditions and I have had no problem seeing. If you play in very shady areas or at night then I do not recommend this and I suggest you get an amber or a different lens that is made to improve night vision.If you are the player who wants a wicked bright colored and flashy lens then go to the original dyetanium mirror, gold mirror, or one of the new multicolored lenses because those are definitely more flashy than this.There are a few things I have to put the lens through such as how the mirror finish hold up against scratches and getting hit by a paintball. I will add to this once I get done with those tests.Overall this is perfect for someone who is looking for a darker look to their mask and overall "look". So if you want to look more threatening get this, If you're going for flashy and want to stand out real well then go with the multicolored.

Great Lens.

1st time to paintball today and I was hit in the lens 4 times, the paint cleaned off easy and the lens worked like a champ. No fogging at all and I'm a big boy running around, Wich was very impressive!!!

Fits hubby's paintball mask he's happy to have clear and not tinted that came with the mask

Fits my Dye i5 perfectly, very sturdy and doesnt fog up at all. Can't fault it, hardly a surprise though, Dye masks are incredible and worth every penny.

More tinted than I expected great for sunny weather but on a day when it's just clear its far too dark

came as a defective item, the thermal lense was all wet in the foam causing the inside of the thermal lense to fog up badly when using the item
