If you're new to peels, start off with a smaller concentration. My skin was well primed for a 20% salicylic acid peel after years of 2% toners and 10% peels once a month for 6 months.I tried this one month ago for the first time, and I left it on for the 1 minute that's recommended for your first use. There was no visible peeling. Then I tried it again two weeks ago and left it on for 3 minutes. My skin looked and felt great after one day of very minor peeling/flaking. Some old blackheads that were deep had come up and were just begging to be extracted so I knew it was working. This week I tried this again and kept it on for 5 minutes. Today my skin is feeling a little tight and I saw a few flakes come off with this morning's wash (DON'T SCRUB OR PICK YOUR FACE, EVEN IF YOU START PEELING!). If this is the beginning of the peeling process, that will definitely be a first! I've never actually had my face visibly peel, so that's great. I'm also seeing a couple more super stubborn blackheads that are finally ready to be extracted. I'll keep using this since I know for sure it's working. Again, this is best for oily skin types!!! I also have some hyperpigmentation from small acne spots, but those are definitely fading and my overall texture is looking amazing. I definitely recommend. If you do try this, be sure to hydrate and moisturize! Stay out of the sun, use sun protection, and just be gentle with your skin overall.

Love love love this product. Within the first use(only 1 minute) I noticed a huge difference in the pores on my nose. So excited to see the transformation after using it for a few weeks. It DOES burn!!! But what do you expect with a chemical peel? Just be super careful around your eyes and lips.

I love this stuff. It’s a process so don’t expect to see drastic immediate results! And definitely be sure to do it a few minutes at a time otherwise you’ll burn your face! It has smoothed my skin out and shrank my pores some! (Only after 3 weeks) not bad at all :)

Try this for daily use--- no need for a neurtalizer...Use 4 pumps of "Clean & Clear" dual action moisturizer and mix *ONE* drop of the 20% salicylic acid in with the lotion.Appy to entire face except eye area. This will sting slightly if you have sensitve skin.Do not use more than one drop to begin with.This will exfoliate and clear up acne at the same time.After 1 month, you can try two drops.Love it!ps. Clean & Clear by J&J already has .5% salicylic acid in the moisturizer so it will readily mix with more salicylic acid.

I love this product. It isn't too uncomfortable and it does the job exceptionally! I had very mild acne but a lot of blemishes bc I would pick at them but now my face is smooth and I have had 0 breakouts since I started using this 2.5 weeks ago. I don't think I will be going higher in percent. As long as you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS....you should have little to no peeling.

I use this less as a peel but rather as a spot treatment for blemishes. It is by far my favorite thing in controlling pimples. I would suggest starting with the 10% if you're a first time user of professional strength salicylic acid. I am an avid peel person so this is the perfect strength on those blemishes.

I have used this twice now and I love it. The first time I used it I broke out a bit but I wasn't too worried (I've always heard it has to get worse before it can get better). After the second time it has just made my skin super soft. I'm excited to continue using it! I bought it with a fan brush for application and I highly recommend that it makes it super easy.

I've only used this once, but I really like this! Much more than the previous brand I was using for a Salicylic peel. I first presaturated my cotton pad with a neutral toner and then poured this 20% on top. I'm sure it diluted it a bit but I would recommend doing this for the first few times until you feel comfortable enough to use it on its own. I'm definitely interested in trying some other peel from this brand.

Good salyctic peel but not exceptional. It has a very strong alchohol like smell which I didn’t love. I don’t recall it being an issue with other peels. Also I feel like $40 for such a small bottle is kind of expensive considering you have to wait 3-4 weeks to get it. I don’t know if I’d repurchase

Product seems good, I have just used it once so far. I’ve got sensitive skin and I definitely felt it burning. I left it on for 1-2 minutes and had mild redness around the corners of my mouth. Make sure to moisturize if sensitive skin, as I am noticing some dryness the following days.Directly following the peel I noticed very smooth feeling skin, and 3 days after it’s still quite smooth. I broke out very mildly in the dried out spots but it was not bad. I’m satisfied with the product and will absolutely reorder, although this should last quite long as it’s recommended use should last 15 peels.The only negative thing, would be with shipping. With this I am not sure if it was an error with the shipping company or if was shipped to the wrong location initially.
