Could you tell me why i had loads of little flies in the seed i did buy it in july because i use it very slowl this is the first time i have had this

I kept mine in the kitchen and after a few months noticed I had an infestation of tiny black weezils. It took me ages to get rid of them and although they are harmless they can walk far and get into any other cereal type products. Apparently they lay eggs in seeds. The answer is to freeze All bird seed before storing it. So I will order it again If possible as reasonably priced, bag it so it's in smaller parts to freeze for a day!

The price quoted is "price: 	£15.49 (£0.77 / kg) & free delivery in the uk on orders over £20."  so - 2 bags = £30.98. why the delivery charge?.

Do the drop seed Germernate ?

Been using this product for around 5 years, yes it totally will germinate, not all of it and not every seed type and of course it depends on how you feed and what the birds fancy.  Using a small hanging feeder positioned so larger birds don't have a direct seat at the table, the majority of seed dropped will be scoffed up by pigeons - if the ground below is free of plants.
