Cheap fix for this common Deere 425 no start issue.
OEM product for my Deere 425 mower. No instructions but that is common for parts like this. My tractor would start, then stall, then start and run great about 5 minutes later. It did this about 10-15 times and then stopped starting at all. Replaced fuel, filters, plugs and nothing helped. Found this on a forum and once this part was installed the tractor started right up. No issues since installing it.

This Worked on My GX345
Riding lawn mower was hard to start. Had someone pick it up to fix the problem, when I got it back it still was hard to start. Read online this module might be the problem. Bought this, put it on, it starts every time.

This was a replacement part from John Deere
My 345 tractor was not getting any spark and would not start. After replacing the ignition coils, I found this part. It looked different from the module that came on the tractor, but I learned this was an older part. It was easy to install, and my tractor fired right up.

Time delay module for John Deere 425 tractor
Tractor was out of service and it only took 15 minutes to hook up this new module to have the tractor running again. I have to replace this module every 3 years and the tractor is now 10 years old. you would think John Deere could make amore rugged module that did not need replacing. First time I had one of these modules go bad was only 3 years after I bought the new 425 tractor. Cost me $200 to get it replaced. Now I know better and do it my self.

JD 425 would not start all the time then eventually not at all. Installed new module and it runs like new.
