I used this for whip crackers; and it works great. Really is kevlar, really tough, and I find it tangles a lot less than nylon. For me it was a necessary upgrade. If you don't make whips, this stuff is strong, and you aren't going to tear through it as easily as you think you can. My pocket book isn't super big, but this was worth it.

I have been experimenting with different materials for making whip crackers, and when I got this I immediately made a cracker with it. The cracks are sharp and loud, this is the best material I have found thus far. Going to be sticking with this, it exceeded my expectations.

I bought this Kevlar kite string to upgrade the line on my kite, but I haven't had a chance to fly kites since then. I used it for making assist hooks on vertical jigs. Performed well. Not immune to damage so please expect some damage to be inflicted by toothed species and be ready to replace the cord after a few catches.

I use this making nets. It's feel is much more pleasant to the touch, based on previous wide experience with kevlar as wicks for flow arts fire props. Holds tight knots well. Make some net or fly a kite or repair gear with this. I am happy with the quality.

I use a lot of braided Kevlar for hobby applications. 40 pound is lighter than what I typically use, but I wanted to give it a try. This is very high-quality braided Kevlar. Really fills a useful niche in my hobby supplies.

Strong, easy to tie, no issues with braid.Just high strength small braided kevlar line and I use it in place of most cordage.
