My cats love it.
I have two cats and this food satisfies the needs of both of them. It is expensive but I know it is helping both me and my cats so it is worth it. And they love it, so what's not to like?

Hills Science diet wet & dry cat food
After feeding my 16 y/o cat "Hills" diet urinary/hairball food, my cat seems to have gained some weight & his stools look more like it should. It is expensive, but I divide the canned food into 3 days & he doesn't eat that much dry food, it is worth it.

A must for maintaing cat urinary health
My neutered male cat had a catastrophic blockage quite suddenly and it resulted in a huge veterinary bill to treat him. He was on Hills urinary health wet cat food for several months afterward and it got him to restored health. It can be very expensive but would be an essential gateway food before switching to a lower priced urinary health brand for your cat.

Life saver
My cat had never had any urinary issues and he is a special needs cat with multiple disease states and 2 autoimmune diseases. He has been through grueling surgeries, has had feeding tubes, went from 18 pounds to 7 pounds and after 3+ years is finally pain and medicine free for the past 6 months. Out of the blue, I noticed something on my floor one day and it looked like dark jam. I bent down to smell it and it didn't smell like jam or poop, so I touched it and it was so sticky and thick. I have 1 other special needs cat and a normal cat too, so I had no idea what or who it came from. I'm used to blood because of their other surgeries and wound management, but this wasn't that kind of blood. This was that dark, thick, sticky blood that comes from organs. So I checked them all from ears, eyes, nose, mouth, paws, genital and anal area. Nothing. All clean and all acting normal. So, I moved my little spy cam (purchased on Amazon.com) to where the crime scene had taken place and gave them each 1 dose of an antibiotic just because I didnt know which one was bleeding and could not take all three cats to the Er at 10pm. So in the morning, I watched the video and saw which cat it was and rushed him to our fabulous vet and it turned out, he had kidney stones, an almost ruptured bladder, interstitial cystitis and an infection. I felt like such a loser that all this happened and I had no clue especially since I've been monitoring the 2 special needs cats daily for so many other things. Apparently, cats hide uti symptoms well until it's too late. So he was given an injection and I was given meds to give him for a while. This poor cat has been through soo many surgeries and different prescription foods that he hated, I was not going to force syringe feed him some expensive urinary health rx food he'd just puke up. So I came to Amazon and did my research about the type of diet needed to sustain urinary tract health. I am NOT a big fan of science diet, but it got great reviews and I resseached it a bit and it has the right amounts of water, protein, magnesium and phosphorus. I figured because it was a "specialty" food, my guy wouldn't eat it like he's done in the past, we'll, I was wrong. He loves it! I mean, lick the bowl clean and meow for more. That's nuts. So, even though he is still caged at the moment so I can collect urine samples, he is quite content with his fancy & healthy food. Thank you science diet. You made a believer out of me!

My cat has vomited for 8 long years.
My vet insisted I feed my male , castrated baby Royal Canin Urinary SO to prevent urinary infections. This food MUST HAVE an Rx just to purchase it. Well, well… that’s one big gimmick to funnel money to said vet who provides Rx.I purchased this Urinary diet and presto, no vomiting and my cat LOVES THIS! This nonsense of having to have a prescription to purchase animal food is a huge lie. Possibly a huge Class Action Lawsuit. Thanks Hills for making my cat healthy.

Canned cat food
I've been ordering this product for over a year now, every since my cats vet said he needed a special diet. The food in the can was soft and fluffy, my cat really liked it. However this last case that I've received, the food in each can that I've opened is a watery mess! For the price, and for the previous experience with this food I expected better. It's like it's either way past it's expire date (though doesn't show that on the cans) or it was a batch at the very end of a cycle. Either way it's just a mess. If I order it again and get this lack of quality again, especially for the price it costs, I'll never buy from them again.
