2% Salicylic Acid Natural Soap for Acne by DermaHarmony (4 oz Bar)

I first came across DermaHarmony when I needed a solution for my oily and acne-prone skin. Their  10% sulfur, 3% salicylic acid bar soap  was the first product I experimented with. It worked really well and helped keep my face from getting super oily. It also dried out any remaining blemishes I had on my face. However, the sulfur smelled like rotten eggs, and I really needed a change from this particular soap. I kept smelling sulfur every time I walked into my bathroom. This is when I converted to DermaHarmony's  2% salicylic acid bar soap .This soap may have less of the essential ingredients comparatively to the  10% sulfur, 3% salicylic acid bar soap , but it also doesn't smell at all! It's still gentle enough to use daily (at least once a day) as long as you have a good moisturizer. If you're looking to travel with it, I found this  bar soap container  from SnowKingdom was the perfect fit. I am a fan of DermaHarmony, and I know I will be a repeat customer for my bar soap needs!

Simply works. Promise me you won't ever stop making this soap. it's been a godsend. Tried thousands upon thousands and this simple soap just gets the job done. Lathers wonderfully. Keep on skin for around 30 seconds-1 minute. Allow a tingle and then rinse.

I’ve been using it everyday and sometimes twice a day for 2 1/2 weeks and see no effect. I want to be fair about it. Should I give it longer? All I can say is that up until this point, I see no difference in annoying back acne. I’m considering a product with benzoyl peroxide to see if that’s more effective.

I bought this salicylic soap to treat my back acne. I've used it daily with a washcloth for about 2 weeks and I don't see too much of a difference yet. I will give it more time, though.I will say that i broke out a lot after a week or so of using it, but the breakout could have been caused by my own hormones, or different products that I used during the same time period (Paula's choice bha salicylic acid, and rosehip oil for hyper pigmentation). Perhaps salicylic acid is not effective enough for my skin.The main reason why i took off 2 stars was not because i broke out, but because this bar of soap leaves behind a residue on my skin even after rinsing well. This gives me the sensation that my pores are blocked and perhaps that causes my acne. I think that with a residue left on my skin, other products that I apply afterwards would not effectively work.This review is for the salicylic acid soap, not the one from the same company that also contains sulfur (which other reviews say smells like eggs). I don't know if the sulfur soap also leaves a residue.I will continue using this daily until the bar runs out. To put up with the stickiness on my skin, I'll probably have to wash twice, the second time with a different body soap

My teenager has KP on his arms, this bar soap coupled with a washcloth have worked wonders to keep that skin smooth and healthy. Gentle, though a little drying (if you are washing your face I would not recommending adding an exfoliating scrub or washcloth) this SA barsoap is works very well.No scent, not even a weird medicinal scent, which is great. Just a nice clean lather.Simple, effective and lasts a long time.

This is a great acne soap. It works just as well as cerave or paulas choice. I was on a hunt for a good salicylic acid cleaner and it’s comparable or better than popular brands while being cruelty free and with less plastic. This is a win! Also no matter how good the soap is it will not cure breakouts overnight. It is a all about a routine with other products as well!

I have bad acne and I have tried many kinds of facewash, all of which didnt work. Worse, they made the acne worse at times. Then I realised that there are tons of ingredients and chemicals in most facewashes - including coloring agents like RED40. Thinking that the ingredients might be causing my skin to react badly, I thought of giving soap bars a shot since they have much fewer ingredients. I found this cheap option and it worked really well. Within 2 weeks, my acne has reduced considerably. Definitely recommended. I would recommend using it before sleeping and applying a moisturizer afterwards to keep overnight.

My hubby remains a kid at heart, which sadly means he still struggles with occasional acne. This bar soap really helps his complexion. Unlike the sulfur-salicylic acid soaps that left our bath reeking like Yellowstone, there is no unpleasant odor with this soap.
