Great 4K player
This is a great player. The picture and sound quality are superb. I gave the "User Interface" only 3 stars, because: The unit only comes with a Basic Owner's manual, which is VERY limited. You need to go on the web to dig into what this player is capable of doing and that is about everything except make your breakfast! I have not had time to go through everything. But one item I use often is subtitles. There is a button on the remote for subtitles, however It does not always work on older DVDs or perhaps all DVDs. You have to know if the subtitles are digital or analog! In other words when you push the "CC" button to get subtitles, good luck. If you use your DVD player to stream (which I do) the only streaming service I have been able to get the player to lock into is Prime Video. Have not been able to get my VUDU account to come up. So it is a good thing that I have the Apple TV 4K ! I would also like to mention the Remote Control. Why do they have to make it so the buttons are so small, except for the NETFLIX button which I keep pushing when using the arrow keys? Bottom line: I bought this player for the quality of the picture and sound when watching 4K, Blu ray and regular DVDs, then this machine shines.

value for your money, it's just very good
Absolutely stunning 4 k video, sound is like an IMAX theatre, my 7.1 system flows through & around you like the force, all 7 speakers plus the sub working in harmony, pulsing energy as you become enveloped in it, Alita & 1917 were the AI reccomendation, & they are Amazing! Enjoy.

Good player, gets the job done.
A good value player. This model has been around for a while. My first one lasted just over 5 years (the laser-reading mechanism stopped working). Excellent picture quality. Easy to connect to your tv (HDMI cable NOT included). My only 2 complaints are no front screen information and a clunky remote control (too many buttons and not well laid out, but it gets the job done). For the price, it's a good deal if you just need a basic 4K disc player!

Great Product and Picture!
Great so far! Picture is great, user interface is easy, and overall, a great player. Some people complained about the remote, saying it's not that user-friendly, but I've not had any issues yet. Good player for a decent price.

Overheating While OFF Causes Increasing Malfunction - Apparently a Common Issue
At first, it worked just fine; and that went on for most of the year... but not all of the first year. Just post-warranty, after purchasing on a 12-month payment plan, I've determined that the unit heats all day while plugged in and turned OFF - approx. 90 degrees and a significant overheating precondition before any use. A couple months ago, I'd drop in a disc and it would run for an hour or so and then the video would pixelate and freeze entirely. Same for all formats: DVD, BluRay, 4K discs. Then I discovered the temp issue, when it became really bothersome. So, if you unplug it during the day, and only plug it in before watching a flick, there is no temperature issue. We watched LOTR 3 Extended Ed. last night ( a very long movie) and no issues, no active or operational heat build-up on the enclosure. But you must physically unplug the cord after you turn the unit off, or I assume, if it sits idle for long afterwards. I called Panasonic Support, chatted with a human, and the only support provided was an "I don't know," and a "you'll have to send it in." My friend on the other coast has a Panasonic with the same identical issue, thus... this is NOT a one-off. Panasonic gave me the repair company's phone number, so I called and spoke with an actual authorized repair guy. Get this, they do not repair these units, they simply determine a true/false malfunction condition, and if defective and under warranty, they have a replacement unit sent out. They see a lot of these heating defects, for reasons unknown because they do not diagnose the problems to the root cause. For those folks under warranty, you may have a measure of luck there, but these units are apparently not manufactured to be "durable goods" or to last for years, any longer. I had a 12-month payment plan. Malfunctions started in month 11; I thought it was a bad disc, or a dirty optical head. I cleaned it. Month 12 (December) it got much worse and more frequent in occurrence to the point of non-usability. Then I discovered the heat issue and the workaround. What is the point of a "manufacturing durability model," wherein Panasonic supposedly expects the consumer to drop +$300 on a player every year? Panasonic used to be a reliable name in electronic commodities. Conclusion: There is no value for the money invested here except over the short term. Setup was easy, the features were decent, and the size of the footprint was sleek, but again... none of this matters if your player is (apparently) not designed to last beyond the warranty year. The comments of a former electro-mechanical engineer... for what my opinion is worth. Mine is out of warranty by a month now. I was told it would be cheaper to buy a new Player. Buyers beware.

Most expensive brick i ever bought

A voltagem é 110v.

GUAUUUUUUUU!! 100% RECOMENDADO.
