Koon Chun Black Soy Sauce

I used it in a delicious red wings dish made with Chicken wings. Simple to make 10 wing pieces 1/4 cup black soy, 1/4 cu cooking sherry and 2 cups water. Add 3 tblsps of brown sugar, bunch of spring onions diced. Bring mixture to boil, reduce heat to low and simmer covered until wings are done.Great with a French or hard bread to dip in left over liquid. Great for snack or party, make a big batch and keep warm in crock pot.

Use to flavor lots....makes ground chicken taste like beef

We use it to make tangy noodle salad.. great taste.

For a fraction of the cost of this small bottle, I could get a large 750 mL bottle at the local Asian markets. But the quarantine kept me from getting out, so I put this on another order, rather than wait.

The main difference in the Black Soy Sauce is that it contains Molasses. So it is sweeter. It still has a lot of salt, which is to be expected.So, if you normally add sugar to your stir fry sauce... hold off until you taste it with the Black Soy Sauce.

This was a very large bottle, very dark rich flavor, which adds something special when making fried rice. Thank you!
