STEPPING UP!
I've been wearing Birks since 1999 and I absolutely love them. They are very well made, suit the contours of my feet and I have high arches and are so extremely comfortable for the wide foot as well. Whether with or without socks, they are a great fit. They last a long time and tolerate any kind of weather conditions. Slip out the insert and you could walk through water with them. Love them and look forward to staying in them for years to come.

The sizes, we had to figure out what the size in US measurements it took a min but we did it.
My sister is a physical therapist for the elderly at a,nursing home and when she started have problems with her feet the doctor said she needed to buy a better walking shoe, she didn't have the money so I bought these for her and when she got them she called me very, very happy. We thought they were black but they are a dark blue and they fit perfectly so she happy and so am I.

they were as good as all the Birkies I have
I have multiple pairs of Birkies, all the same size. This pair was far too large, although it was marked as the same size as all my others. I gave them four stars because, except for the size, they were as good as all the Birkies I have.

Good for price.
I'm a nurse looking for a longer lasting shoe than my dansko. They are good but I couldn't get past the open back. If you love crocs these are for you as long as you like the open heel.

Horrible
Ridiculous Fit. My feet slide right out of it & I wear a consistent women's size 9. I have never had a shoe fit so wide & large. No receipt came with my package & I need to return this immediately.

This is a gift
I cannot rate the shoes, as I will not be wearing them. They are a gift for my sister-in-law, and she claims they are the best gardening shoes ever.
