Not as good as hoped. I'll start with it came folded in half, kinking the straight hose. So far it is holding the vacuum, but assume it has been compromised for lifespan. May have been a used product as the product bag was torn open and re-taped halfwise. It works, but not as slick as the product page video. Maybe I don't have the correct height differential, but you have to pump each bit of water, it did NOT flow automatically, which is tiring and grating on your hands with the rough ribs on the bulb. Frankly, a bailing bucket works faster for my application, but this is less sloppy, so that is the trade off. More useful if you need the thin hoses to reach places where a bucket can't access.

For when you wake up to find that the new cover on your luxury SUV is indeed waterproof and is now holding 4,200 lbs of water and is moments away from shattering the glass roof and effectively turning it into an expensive and worthless fish tank. A true story. The Morning after installing a new "breathable" vehicle cover on our British Luxury SUV with a full length safari roof rack before a torrential rain storm we wake to find in excess of 4,200lbs of water sitting perilously close to shattering the entire glass roof of our vehicle and rendering it a complete and total loss. We knew two things immediately. 1.) The "Breathable" car cover was in fact not and now about to crush our vehicle under 2 tons of water and 2.) We needed to pull out our Tera Pump TRDP15 and get rid of this rooftop pool with a quickness. There is something to be said for having the right tool for the situation-and in this case "The Right Tool" was our Tera Pump TRDP15. You will not find a lighter, well designed and functioning hand pump anywhere. We've tried them all while on Overland Expeditions from everything from drinking water, fuel, clearing water from flooded vehicles during water crossings. No matter what we'be thrown at our Tera Pump-it's prevailed. But sometimes you find yourself needing to drain a swimming pool suspended above your vehicle while just sitting in your driveway. The Tera Pump and 12 minutes and crisis averted. 2 pumps on the hand bulb, no cursing, no sweating and you're good to go. The Tera Pump TRDP15 weighs nearly nothing, packs away easily, is ingeniously designed to do what you need it to-without any of the drama typically associated with hand powered siphon or fluid pumps. A completely closed system without seals to fail, grease or maintain-a large, soft easy to operate hand bulb and a brilliant "stop flow" feature that indeed stops the flow of whatever you are moving..dead in it's tracks. No dribbling mess, so juggling hoses to trap leftover fluids that may be hidden in the body of a traditional hand pump. If you need a rock solid and dependable way to pump fuel, water, or a 5 gallon pail of Margaritas in a hurry without the fuss and muss of a traditional hand pump or siphon (I have yet to find a person who enjoys a mouthful of Gas/Petrol/Diesel) the Tera-Pump is the solution you've been looking for. Worked fine - no instruction needed. Siphoned gas from 5 gallon cans (generator gas unused from hurricane season) into car. Used a couple of 5 gallon paint cans to set the gas can higher than the car's gas fill, squeezed the bulb about 3 times, then watched the gas flow. When the car sounded like the gas was approaching the top of the filler opening I raised the siphon tube until it stopped siphoning. Other than a couple of drips when removing the tubes from the car and the gas can, there was no spills. Much easier than trying to hold 5 gallons of gas while trying to make the 'EPA Approved' gas can nozzle work. Even if it only lasts one season it's a good price.

Great product. Gets the job done. Easy to use. Siphoned gas out of my snowblower to store it away for the summer. Also on my lawn mower to make sure it has fresh gas. No leaks and good pressure

I got to try out my TeraPump yesterday filling the tank on my tractor with diesel fuel. I got good and bad results. First off, the instructions don't mention how much lift the pump has or needs, and I seem to recall from using my pool pump that the discharge can't be more than a foot above the pump so I put the 6 gallon container of diesel fuel on a bench less than 12 inches below the tank opening. After a few squeezes on the bulb the fuel began to flow up thru the TeraPump but the instructions seem to say once the siphon action has started it isn't necessary to keep squeezing the bulb and this wasn't working. It was necessary to squeeze the bulb the entire time I emptied the fuel can. The last problem I encountered was after I had fill the fuel tank on my tractor. The TeraPump was still filled with diesel fuel and the instructions say to pull up the cap on the top of the bulb to let air into the pump and drain the fuel. That didn't work either and in the end I wound up spilling several ounces of diesel fuel on the floor. This TeraPump is probably a good product but maybe I need more practice.
