this is really nice- and so cheap! i was dubious, since there are so few reviews and it was only $5, but this is great stuff. it's vinyl, so it's easy to wipe off, and easy to mold around a drawer face because it has a tiny bit of stretch. the color is just as shown on my screen. the flowers are 3 inches apart from center to center. the surface is what i would call similar to satin paint- not shiny, not flat, just a little sheen.do yourself a favor if you've never installed contact paper before- clean your surfaces with soapy water, rinse, and let totally dry. if it won't wreck your surface, wipe with a little rubbing alcohol just to be sure. the reason paper doesn't stick well is either a dirty or a rough surface. and just as anyone who has painted a wall knows, this is all about preparation too.don't cut the paper to exact size before installing- that never works out well. leave a half inch or inch and cut it to fit after it's stuck on where you want it. very lightly use a razorblade knife and a straight edge.when laying it on a smaller object like a drawer, i peel all the backing off, line up one edge, and use something like a credit card to begin smoothing from the center to the edges across the drawer, looking at it in light so you can see if there are wrinkles or big bubbles.don't worry too much about smallish bubbles, since after you're done smoothing it on, you can take a stick pin and poke the bubble, then smooth down the paper by pushing the air out to the center where your pin hole is.this is really nice, way more than i expected. just BEWARE that the rolls are VERY small, so measure before you buy to see how many you need.
