Suuwer Non-Programmable Thermostats for Home 1 Heat/1 Cool Conventional Single-Stage Systems (Blue Backlight)

Nice and simple when programming not necessary . illuminated display is nice and goes off automatically. Instruction sheet was very small print and a little confusing but was able to complete installation.

Replaced an old, programmable unit. Easy to install... just follow the instructions on which wire goes where. This is a nice, simple, easy to read thermostat. If you don't need or want the hassle of a programmable, and you are happy with actually getting off your butt to turn the temperature up or down, then this will work well for you.

If your household follows set routines, programmable thermostats make a lot of sense. But for the years we had two of them (one on each floor), they didn't. We ended up constantly altering, or even cancelling, the settings, because we came back home or departed earlier or later than anticipated. And they often were a pain to reset. We finally decided to get two of these Suuwers. They aren't all that difficult to install, have accessible battery compartments and backlit screens when changing temps, and just work without a lot of fussing. We should have gotten them a long time ago.

I had to replace my Honeywell thermostat, that I purchased a few years back, because it wasn't working right. It was a programmable one, but I never used it that way. So when I went in search of a new one, I came across this one. No programming involved. Easy set up, just wire, add batteries and set it to heat or air, fan or auto and set your desired temp. I also love that the display is easy to see. I hooked it up yesterday afternoon and it worked great but upon waking this morning I noticed it was cold but the furnace was running but not blowing heat. I remember reading through installation instructions it mentioned a switch on the back of cover plate that was for gas or electric. I forgot to do that step. So I pulled cover plate off and sure enough, it was set to electric instead of gas. Once I fixed my error, it has worked great. So far, it's working great and worth the money.

I installed at least 5 thermostats, before I installed this one. What a difference! Beautiful lighted dial, easy to read...large numbers! Forget the rest, buy this one...EASY install. TOTALLY SATISFIED!

I'm a 65 yr old woman who did learn a few things from her handyman dad back in the day. BUT....I'm not fond of messing with electrical things. My old thermostat was on it's last legs and often times just wasn't working. This is not a good thing since anyone reading this in the US knows this summer has been a beast! I don't want or need timers or an app to have to adjust the temp. Just on/off and up/down. My old thermostat (which lasted over 20 years) was no longer available so this was close enough. I had bought this a few weeks ago but since it's been so hot I was stalling knowing I'd have to turn the power off and I thought the install would take at least an hour or more. I lucked out in that the screw holes were exactly the same so it took me maybe 15 min (including running up and down the stairs for the power) I drew a chart where the wires went (no phone pics as I could just tape the chart to the wall without having to hold a phone) I also lucked out having a computer tool kit around as the screws to put in the wires are tiny and none of my screwdrivers were that small so the tool kit worked perfect. <---so make sure you have a tiny screwdriver. The actual screws are more phillips but my flat worked fine. I can't comment on much as far as how it works as I did this just a little over 48 hours ago but it seems to be accurate and working fine. If I can do it then you can do it. It's not rocket science. Just remember to turn your power off first and make sure you know which wire goes where.

Great product! As soon as I got this I hooked it up and it worked perfect. Switching out a analog thermostat. The only problem I had was figuring out where a couple of different colored wires were supposed to go. For example, on the left there is the letter B, I have a brown and a blue wire Would have been nice if it would have said if a blue or brown was supposed to go there instead I had to look up a YouTube video. But that's hardly an issue. As far as other instructions they were very good. functionality of the product is awesome and exactly Ias expected it to work. Seems to be built very durable. Very great thermostat for the price. No need to buy Pro1 for $45 which is similar.

Easy install and comes with jumper wire. However, the temp reading is off. We have an Accurite hanging next to it reading the temp the old thermostat was set at 69 and this one is reading two degrees higher at 71. We have another Accurite one on the fridge that reads the same as the other Accurite at 69. So we will probably have to use the calibration to get it closer to what to actually is in the house.
