This 2-book set is an essential resource for the study of the history, culture and processes used in handcrafting Indian textiles. The text is embellished with maps and copious high-quality color photographs and drawings. The text is well-written in an accessible style. I was impressed with the excellent quality of this boxed set, sturdy paper and sewn binding, attractive dust jackets, and even old-fashioned ribbon bookmarks. I am so pleased to finally have my own copy of these books - no more interlibrary loan!
