Paddle Strop Block Covered with Compound (LS4P1)

This is a nice quality strop with an included compound, ideal for honing pocket knives, kitchen knives and has a nice lanyard hole for hanging it in my office. Excellent.

A great strop with an ideal height from the work surface, it comes pre loaded with compound. Used on a variety of knife and chisel makes and shapes. It worked well on all. It appears well made and I'm hoping it will last a while.

Takes the burr off my sharpened knives a treat. Leaves them shining and sharp

Never owned a strop before, not disappointed, as with all Beavercraft items, it is great quality and great value.

Poor quality thin leather coating on top of a sponge backing. Comes away from sponge as you try and polish your blade. I persevered with it but had to concede defeat in the end. The wood went well in my log burner 😕

Absolutely recommend this high quality product to finalize the sharpening of your beloved knife. The paste you will apply is a polishing compound causing metal to mirror shine after minutes of work, even the kitchen knife from local stores can be razor sharp due to the green paste, or “GOI polishing paste”, which on leather surface will do the magic. Before you understand how it works just google or watch videos. This tool is for finishing, you need grinding stone to do the main job. Enjoy your sharpening

I like that it only took a few strokes maybe 10 or so to take my sharp knife and turn it razor sharp I mean this is the sharpest I have ever been able to get a knife, sharper than factory! Easy to use and for the price it can't be beat! I am very happy with the results and would recommend to anybody who is responsible enough to handle this level of sharpness.

I purchased this strop recently. It was supposed to come with a tips and instructions booklet and the freed stropping compound. However I didn’t receive them. I wrote to beaver-craft on whatsapp as suggested in the product description and “help” with the order menu. I told them about this and they sent me 2 stropping compounds for free and also sent me a pdf of the instructions booklet.5/5 for customer service.The product is great. I sharpen my knives regularly with whetstone. However for daily and weekly sharpening stropping is great and it quickly sharpens the knife. Now I occasionally sharp using whetstone and regularly polish using the strop. This has made my life simple and cutting more enjoyable.
