Donell AHA 20 Face and Body Care Exfoliating Body Moisturizer Body Tingle

This product is amazing. It is definitely what it says it is, 20 % alpha hydroxy in the form of glycolic acid. So, if you're looking for a pretty strong glycolic treatment you will definitely get it with this one. If you are a regular user of the stronger concentrations of glycolic then you know what to expect with one at 20%. But, if you are new to using glycolic solutions please use caution with this one. It is used for the body like your feet, knees, legs, and arms. It is very potent for those areas alone.I use this on my face, neck, and decolletage as well. But, I can only handle it once or so a week on these more sensitive areas. Your face and neck will feel like it's burning/tingling for a little while after applying. The next day I usually do not use any other exfoliants or retinols. I also try to stay out of the sun as well. Your skin will be sensitive. It will end up slightly peeling which reveals your new, brighter skin. I know, the things we do for beauty and anti-aging... I apply coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and/or rosehip seed oil for the next couple days to soothe and combat dryness.This Donell exfoliant moisturizer is somewhat of a gel/lotion consistency. Once it absorbs you don't feel anything heavy left on your skin. I've taken photos of the bottle, lotion consistency, and ingredients if interested.This has smoothed wrinkles, lightened freckles, plumped out my facial skin, and made my skin less dull and more vibrant after using for the last few weeks. Excellent for that thick, dry unwanted skin on your feet, too. No added fragrance so basically no scent apart from that typical glycolic acid smell which is almost undetectable.I use this from head to toe and am very pleased with my results. I will continue to purchase as this is one of the highest concentrations of glycolic acid in the form of a lotion that I can find without prescription. A little pricey but it's a full 8 oz. of product in bottle with a fliptop. More importantly, the product itself and results that it gives is well worth the cost!

I have been looking for a 20% AHA that I can use on my face and have been having a tough time finding a good one that doesn't put me in the poor house. I have been using AHA products for 30+ years. I've used Neostrata, Paula's Choice, Obagi and DCL - Dermatologic Cosmetic Labortaories. Neostrata has a 20% face cream and it cost about $33 on Amazon for a little 1 oz bottle. DCL had a 20% Resurfacing Lotion that was great. It cost about about the same as Neostrata but it was an 4 oz bottle ( = $8.25 / oz) The DCL product was great quality at a great price. Then DCL decided to repackage the product, reduce the size to 1.7 oz and jack up the price to $55 (= $32.35 / oz.) WTH!!! To heck with that baloney. So my search for a new 20% AHA lotion began again. I came across this Donell AHA 20 Face and Body/ Body Tingle and decided to give it a try. Well I love it! It has a light enough texture that you can use it on your face and not have it feel heavy like a body lotion. It's $35 for an 8 oz bottle which is AWESOME! ( $4.37 / oz) A way better value than the DCL. This 8 oz bottle will last a long time with just daily facial use only. I feel like I need to stock up on it before they jack up the price like DCL did. So in a round about way I'm glad that DCL hiked up their price because I found an equally great product with Donell at a fraction of the price.

Ever since I can remember I have suffered from rough, bumpy skin on my upper arms, thighs, hips and butt. Over the years I have tried every (OTC and Rx.) lotion that supposedly helps with moisturizing and exfoliating. Some worked to an extent and some did nothing for me at all. A couple of months ago i happen to run across this lotion and it has been a game changer for me. NEVER has my skin been as smooth and soft as after I started using this lotion about 3 months ago. Initially I was very disappointed as there was no discernible tingle, and no immediate improvement, but a month into using it, there was a complete turn around. None of the horrible red angry bumps. I can now wear sleeveless tops and cant get enough of the feel of my skin - not to sound too creepy, but rough skin has been the bane of my life for 59 years. The lotion spreads easily and absorbs into the skin with barely any greasy residue. My one and only criticism would be that there is no discernible scent. A light pleasing scent would be a great addition. Bottom line, if you are a fellow Keratosis Pilaris sufferer, give this lotion a try and give it at least a month before you give up on it. i usually use it soon after a shower.

This is a very good body lotion as I see it is slowly improving the dry alligator skin on my arms. I use it 3x/week so I might see quicker results if I used it more often, but it leaves my skin feeling a tad bit coated which I may get used to over time and then I could use it more frequently. I think the bottle should come with a pump dispenser because it gets messy & slippery handling the bottle with lotion residue on your hands. And the bottle isn't very flexible, so it's a little challenging to squeeze out product. Even though I have resistant skin, I do get a very slight itch after applying it but it doesn't last long and that tells me it's working. Sensitive skin types may be more reactive. I would say this is the most effective exfoliating body lotion I've tried so far.

I found this cream to be fabulous.It works great ! Removed dead skin off my heels without scrubbing too much.Worked wonders on my legs removed lays of old brown spots,but not entirely,but better then any product that I have used in the past.Made my legs dress ready.

Didn't like this product at all...no use..after first time you will get a little result but after regular use of 1 month...i can say this is waste of money and secondly why this lotion is too costly..6k are you serious..does glycolic acid costs too much?...won't recommend
