Lifelike practice kit for giving injections.
A wonderful learning tool! I bought this for my granddaughter who is a nursing student at Texas Tech. All of her classes are online, so she is not receiving personal instruction on giving shots or setting up an IV. This set goes a long way in giving her a “lifelike” experience. Very satisfied! It was definitely worth the money.

Great for practice
I like this is domes rather than flat. It give you a better feel of giving injections on people. I also like that I can strap it to someone so I can practice positioning with the technique. I also like having the different layers because I can get feel of SubQ versus muscle.

Great tool for the price.
Helped me tremendously with becoming comfortable and confident to give immunizations on actual humans, both IM and Sub. Really helps with getting acclimated to the amount of force, speed and depth.

Very low quality
I was very excited to practice with this pad however it has a lot of negative parts. First of all it has 2 belt straps. One long and one short. The long one is too long to place the pad on the leg, and there is no way to use it.( see photo attached) The short one is too short for the hand, and because the pad is very heavy it dosent stay. So the belt straps can't be used at all. I liked the pad because it skin it appeared good quality but it is almost impossible to do an IM injection. The needle goes through the first layer but it dosent advance at all inside. ( I used a 20 ga see photo attached)The second layer under is too hard the material for the needle to go in. Even when you push hard the needle enters like 65% inside and dosent go at all in due to the material. Due to the belts issue and that the needle doesn't go inside I can not practice properly and made my experience a nightmare. I really needed this pad to be able to practice and now I cant. In my opinion it is not worth the money.
