Play your PSP on a bigger screen
The PSP is the first handheld video game system I have ever own in my over 24 years of game playing history. The reason I never owned a previous handheld is because I absolutely despise gaming on small screens. Don't misunderstand. I absolutely understand the appeal of playing games on the go or while you are away from you home. These component cables eliminate that hurdle for me. They are very easy to hook up to your PSP and tv (providing it has the correct inputs of course).Once they arrived, I quickly hooked it up and it works like a charm. Sure, the one draw back is that the image project on the TV (I use a 32" HDTV for this) is not quite as vivid as the image on the PSP's screen since it is blowing it up. However, I feel that is a small trade off considering I can now play my PSP games on a bigger screen. Also, the sound will come out of your TV's speakers and depending on how good they are, it can be better than the psp's tiny speakers. If you want to experience your favorite games on a bigger screen, I recommend buying this.

looked good coming out of the bag
shipped fast, looked perfect when taken out of the packaging but to my dismay my brand new psp wouldn't recognize the cable when plugged in: dud

It works.
My package didn't come with instructions so I didn't know how to get it to connect at first but if you go to the settings section of the xmb and then the Connected Display Settings you can Switch video output there. Its nice and works, quality could be better but then again your upscaling video display from a small screen. Also the xmb takes up your whole tv display but the display used for games get smaller as you play them.

Haven't actually used these at all but they look wonderfull and were cheap so that has to be a winner right?

So far, So bad
The cables are way too short, not an issue if you have an old tv sitting on a stand I guess but when you have a wall mounted tv like me, basically sitting in my desk chair right under the TV it's no good. Also, at this point in time they are not working with my flat screen TV. I've double checked 10 times that I have them in the right spot and the right setting on the TV. I must be missing something because others seem to be having no issue but I'll be darned if I know what it is at this point.

Amazing PSP Cables
These cables are worth every penny! If you own a PSP 3000 you would be foolish not to purchase these. These cables output my PSP to the television with perfect clarity! I have read other reviews of cables stating that the game play was blurry however I did not have that problem but that is probably because the TV I tested on is progressive scan which is what these are made for. It is true that when playing a game on the television it does not output to the entire size of the screen but rather a box in the center, however it still takes up most of the screen and is much larger than the PSP so I do not mind. I have not tried video yet but since the game play is perfect I'm sure the video will look great as well. You will not find a cheaper cable that performs this good!

It was cheap so I wasn’t very upset but still wasted time.
Does not work. You get what you pay for or in this case not even that. The cord isn’t even recognizable to a psp so you can’t switch displays. It functions as nothing more than a big aux cord really. It was cheap so I wasn’t very upset but still wasted time.

Wonderful to be able to see the games
I've enjoyed using this thing. It's easy to set up and gives a great picture on my tv. I was worried after reading some of the reviews for this cable. I wasn't sure if it would be a black'n'white picture or if I'd be able to even transfer the viewing screen to my tv. My worries were put to rest seconds after I hooked this cable up and scrolled through the PSP menu and changed the screen output. It's in vivid color and, once the picture size was adjusted, fits the whole tv screen. I highly recommend this to anyone with a PSP system, especially those who have problems seeing like my father or myself. Your family and friends can sit in and watch. The length of the cord is short for people who have large tv's and need to sit further away and so you may want to find a different one but it is truly a great gadget to own for everybody else.
