Pretty simple thing but it did the job and saved a few bucks.

I did my research on tufting furniture on just one surface not through the other side with two buttons. I have couches that aren't super expensive so one of the tufted buttons came off. The thread used from the factory doesn't seem to be that sturdy after further research on tufting. I realized I may be replacing more than one button on my couches. I decided to attempt the repair myself and after learning quite a bit about the process, I discovered this particular tool seemed to be instrumental to a successful and painless repair. This company specifically has a reputation for having the best tufting needle for this situation. After purchasing it, the right tufting thread and tufting clasps, I repaired my damaged couch on the first attempt (watched several videos of course). I highly recommend the tool and the thread and clasps below. We had 2 buttons pop off of our tufted leather Dania sofas and. Honestly didn’t know what to do at first. I saw this took being used on a YouTube video I found and I ordered it. I wa surprised how simple it was to use and the sofa has its tufted buttons back in place! It’s a little expensive for the piece you get, but I guess $50 is better than hundreds of $$ to have a furniture restoration shop do it.

Watch a YouTube review on how to use this and then repaired our button tested couch ourselves. Worked wonderful it saved a lot of money. Will use it again if we have another button come loose

This was an amazing purchase! I was worried about having to pay a lot of money to fix 2 buttons on my couch and decided to look up solutions. I found a great youtube video that referenced how to fix this using a tufting needed and this thing did exactly what I need.

This is the only tufting needle on the market, and that monopoly isn't doing anyone any favors. It's nearly impossible to get the stupid upholstery clip to actually stay IN the needle while you poke it through the foam--four tries out of five it just pops out at the point of insertion and then you are just shredding your foam exactly where you need to put an anchor, as you poke it over and over. Unfortunately, unless some enterprising upholstery enthusiast brings a better one to market, there's no alternative (as far as I know). So good luck with that. I'm glad I'm just replacing a few popped buttons, and not doing a whole couch or something.

Facts no Fluff + It works. + Find a video on youtube from the Rowley Company, it's very informative - You'll need to buy the tufting twine and the small hooks to make this work Total cost adds up for the tool, twine and hooks, but likely cheaper than having someone come to your home to replace a button on your couch. If another button falls off on any furniture, I now have the tools to fix it.
