SpigenRugged Armor Designed for iPhone 11 Case (2019) - Matte Black

Very nice case. I had been using a clear Unicorn Beetle case for a few months. It was starting to yellow on the edges, and I decided I wanted something that didn’t make my phone look cheap. This totally fits the bill. Sleek design. Fits perfect. Felt a little slippery at first compared to my last case, but that’s just because they are made of very different materials. After using this case I can say it’s not slippery. It has grooves on the sides that do their job quite well of helping you hold it. Not only does this case make my phone look more high end than my last, it offers just the right amount of protection. One pleasant surprise was the tactile feel of the buttons. Way easier to push than my last case (but not too easy!), and they kinda “click” when you press them. A very satisfying experience. As you can see from the pics, no interference with my screen protector either. No major drops yet, but I get the feeling this will hold up well. I promise to update my review if anything goes wrong.I highly recommend this case. Buttons are still crisp. & I don’t know what’s been wrong with me this last month, but I have practically thrown my phone out of my hand onto tile floors, concrete, at least 5 or 6 times, and zero damage to the case, zero damage to the phone. I did crack my screen protector on the concrete fall, but that was due to a rock it landed on face down. Still completely satisfied, 8 months in ❤️.Hope this helps!

This is a very basic, silicon case that has a great texture to it and seems to offer decent protection. So far I can’t see a con to the design, as it offers full protection around each corner, including the air cushion at each corner. It looks like just a small hollow section that would absorb the fall, if the phone falls on the corner. Not sure how well it works, but it looks like it would be functional. It also has raised edges for the front and back, so you shouldn’t need to worry about laying it down in hard surfaces.The case doesn’t add much thickness at all which keeps it easy to slip in and out of pockets. It’s texture is a matte finish that isn’t smooth, but isn’t rubbery. For me, it had just enough grip to grab, but it doesn’t stick to anything. I also appreciate that the sides have a sort of hexagonal shape to add grip, which makes it much easier to hold with one hand.Overall, I would recommend this to anybody needing a quick, pullover case. The price is very reasonable and it doesn’t feel like a cheap knockoff. I’ll update if I drop it!

This is the fourth different phone that I’ve used this style case. Doesn’t crack like some cheap cases. Now I look up the case and order it so I have it in hand when I pick up my new phone. The iPhone 11 has a super tight fit while comparing the version for my iPhone X after two years of use is easier to take off and clean. The case to the 11 is also easier to hold and doesn’t feel as slick as the older case—have dropped the 11 far less often than I did the X, but no damage to the phones and when the X went in for repair for manufacturing problems twice they thought it looked like new. I like the iPhone 11 case more even if I don’t like the phone as much. Twelve dollar case I feel safe putting an 8-12 hundred dollar phone in.

I give this product 4 stars. I like Spigen and have used them in the past. The case fits and looks good. The only reason I did not give a five star is I am not sure of the durability of the case. I havent dropped it yet but I feel like it would withstand a moderate drop. But I would purchase again. Great price and look.

I had older SPIGEN case for my iPhone 11. It had the rugged look but a bit heavy. As a healthcare worker I cleaned the case with antibacterial wipes and it faded a little. The case absolutely did it’s job! I dropped my phone several times and thought it was the end. Picked it back up and it was 100% protected (with glass screen protector)I decided to get a new SPIGEN case just to have my phone looking good. The new model is sleeker, lighter, and has the same awesome protection for my phone. Two drops on hard concrete and no cracks. I highly recommend!

Great case. Love the feel. Love the look. Flexible yet sturdy. I can use this as an everyday, just going to the office, case and still feel protected from short drops and just random mishandling. The carbon fiber look, at the bottom, is cool. I only wish they came in several colors. This would be a good, high end rugged, yet stylish case. Maybe even a two-tone with the carbon fiber just to give it a contrasting color look. If they had multiple colors I would buy several and alternate. But overall, an awesome case.

Fits the phone perfectly. Variations in the backside of the case give you places to grip and look stylish as well. The sides of the case have vertical ridges almost like a Roman column that increases grip.Amazon/Spigen list this case as adding 0.15” of added depth versus the Spigen Ultra Hybrid which is listed as having 0.13” of added depth. I ordered both and one of those measurements is wrong as this case is visually slimmer and feels smaller as well.I have owned many Spigen cases over the last 8-9 years and this is my favorite so far.

I’m a 6’4 220 alpha male so when I drop my phone it is a considerable distance to the ground and yet it has never broken.
