Great book to quickly learn about our government and use as a reference. Nice to use with kids.

Easy to read in a short time. Nice illustrations and pictures. Perfect for reluctant readers who are visual learners. Good research.

This is a great resource for people to learn about how our government works and why knowledge is important to the future success of our country!

I was looking for a book for my kids to read to learn about government, in an unbiased way. At I read through I was very excited, because everything seemed very balanced and factual... Just a few problems I had... Pictures are attached.The book talks about protests and special interest groups... Both of which are leaning to the left (only special interest groups are pro-abortion and anti-gun... What about mixing it up and taking a right and left group?) The protests listed are not described at all, and the 3 most recent are left wing.... What about the right to life March that happens every year? Does it not count as a protest?And lastly. The Democratic-Republican party is not the same as the Democrat party. I would call Andrew Jackson the first Democrat president (since that is when they dropped 'Republican' and they were called the Jacksonian Democrats.Over all pretty even though, I will use it to teach my kids how things work. The format is great, easy to understand, and I think kids will enjoy it more than a text centered book.

Easy to read format and informative!

I’m 74 Years old and because I read this book I now have a better understand Our Government. This book was simple to read and made basic Government much easier to understand. The design work added to mading things yet easier to comprehend the contents. I would highly recommend this book to every school age child.

Great for teaching an introduction to government or Civics class. Great information in an engaging format, I would consider this book for my personal library since I have kids.

We are currently using this book for high school civics/government. It breaks everything down into small bites that make it easy to retain. My 17 and 13 year olds like it
