A Little Dab Will Do It!
I have been using Morton Salt Substitute for years to substitute my use of table salt as I have hypertension. This salt substitute is compatible with all of the meals that I cook, and I cook everything. There is no aftertaste. It seasons my food well, works well, as if I was using real table salt. It has the right amount of texture and you only need to use a small amount as it has enough potency in it so you don't have to overload your dish with too much salt. I keep it on my counter with all of my other condiments so it easy to get to. I will continue to use this salt substitute, it's a lifer for me. Try it and you want be disappointed!

If you’re cutting salt, this is something.
Is this a 1-1 for regular salt? Nope. But it’s reminiscent of salt, and adds some flavor. Not a sharp taste like real salt, but a pleasant savory aftertaste. A good option if you’ve got a severe case of the blands. Let’s be honest, certain foods like eggs and potatoes and popcorn really suffer without good old sodium. Not a perfect replacement by a long shot, but it helps. There are dozens of tasty sugar substitutes, but not much out there for us poor cardiac patients!

PRODUCT REVIEW
Product does enhance the salty taste without the Na+ content. However, it has somewhat mild of an after taste. It is still an option for some one who needs to control the sodium.

I love it!
This is the BEST salt substitute I have ever taste. You don't need a lot to get that salt flavor. Don't try it on your tongue as it will be too strong. Instead, try it on your food and you'll love it! Enjoy!

Not a good table salt replacement - use for cooking instead
Purchased as a way to reduce sodium intake and to increase potassium intake. Standard size salt shaker - same size that you would find at a restaurant. This makes it easy to keep with you in a purse, backpack, or at the office. The problem: it is somehow bitter. This was unexpected. My wife tried it without my knowing it, she asked why the salt was bitter... 😳🤦♂️ The solution in our household has been to use regular Na-Cl salt with the K-CL salt when sprinkling on prepared food. To be fair, the package does say that it is good for all cooking. No mention of it as a table salt substitute.
