Superior insulation for 3mm

Cooled down Texas home
I live in an HOA and needed a white backing so I wouldn’t get fined. Even with the white side to the windows it helped cool the west facing, upstairs section of the house tremendously. (**We’re in Texas with no shade and MONTHS of humid 100+ degree temperatures so this was a big deal!) I love that it’s foam and not bubble wrap first of all. Second it’s so easy to work with compared to the bubble wrap option. The foam is easy to cut with a utility knife/razor, scissors were cumbersome but will work too. We used packing tape to attach to the window frame. After a month of use I am definitely happy with the product.

Great heat blocker, who cares if the neighbors see the shiny side! Helps with heat entering hime
Just gotta get some double sided tape or something to make it stick to the window. I have a sliding glass back door that gets hit by the sun and heat! This truly helps block out the heat and supporting my hovering blinds to block it out! Size I got was good, I had to do 2 strips for the window in the door to cover. But it’s defly enough with it to cut to fit!

Air gap insulation
The item was easy to handle and install. It just didn't have the effect I was hoping for. It is installed on some large windows in an addition. It definitely darkens the room, and the white-silver color lets me put white on the outside. It looks much nicer than the silver would have.

Really blocks heat coming through my windows
I used double-sided tape to hang this up in the windows of my house that face the afternoon sun. It seems to keep the house MUCH cooler. It's very light and was very easy to cut to size and to hang with just a few pieces of double-sided tape.

Happy then disappointed.
I needed this thermal barrier for the underside of a metal roof that covers my deck. The white face was perfect and a 50 ft roll by 16 in width would be just right for my truss spaces and lengths. Well, I finally got around to installing the insulation only to find out the product I received was not a continuous 50 feet but had a taped seam at about 20 feet! I had to figure out where to put the piece with the seam so it was not so obvious (ugly). When I got to my last piece to cot from the roll, I was not happy to find out that my ‘50 foot’ roll was actually 49 feet 6 inches. More ugliness to adjust for. My best hope is that it cuts out some of the radiant heat. Yes, I did leave an air barrier.
