UNLOCK! Heroic Adventures

Excellent starter for anyone who wishes to get into the Unlock Games. Insert Coin was so much fun! Sherlock Holmes was awesome. My family of four we were able to figure out without hints. You have to pay attention to detail. In search of the white rabbit - If you know the story of Alice in Wonderland it will be even more fun, but you don't need to know the story to enjoy the game. Loved all three in this package. This was my introduction to the Unlock games and will definitely purchase more.

I bought this as a surprise Christmas gift for my husband last year. We both love watching mysteries and trying to solve them together, so I thought these games would be a fun addition to our date nights. The set includes three games: one easy, one intermediate, and one more challenging. He enjoyed the first game so much that he planned additional date nights so we could play the other two! Since then, we’ve bought more games from this series, as well as from other brands. Some of the puzzles can be frustrating, but each game includes hints and helps in case you get stuck. Overall, it’s a fun and affordable way to spend a date night (especially since you get 3 dates for the price of one).

This was my husband and my first unlock game. We did the first game and it was very fun. Did the second game and it definitely was harder. There also seemed to be a bit of glitch within the app during a part of it. We weren't able to figure it out but are going to try again. It's. Very fun concept. And I like that you can reuse the game.

These unlock sets are a lot of fun, there are 3 separate mysteries to solve. Which an hours time. My family and I usually need a little more time, but we don’t mind. Each card has a little puzzle or new clues. It’s fun, can’t really replay though unless you really can’t remember the answers. Great value for the money, the cards are quality. The themes are fun and interesting.

Three terrific games. It should be noted that two are an hour long and the third, and most difficult, is an hour and a half. Reading other reviews for this I have to assume that many people just didn’t get the clues, because every time we got a hint we felt silly for having missed the clues in the first place. There is a lot of outside of the box thinking required and it’s good to have people playing who all think about things from a different viewpoint. The AR features included through the free app added a lot of extra fun, and I appreciated not having to pull out a magnifying glass to find some of the hidden clues, as I have had to do in other Unlock games. Be warned that the Alice adventure requires a lot of lateral thinking and the final puzzle took us almost as long as the entire rest of the game to crack.

So I've played Gloomhaven, Scythe, Terraforming Mars, Seven Wonders Duel, TIME Stories, etc. My friends and I try to buy from the "Top 100" list on Boardgamegeek. This is just a credential rant. I bought this box after looking into Unlock and EXIT, and decided to give it a whirl. Well, I was blown away. You have to download an app, which I was kind of miffed about but it's totally worth it. They include a small tutorial game too, which is just smart. All of the game options in here are just flat out clever. I'm surprised I'm the first review. I recommend it for friends, family, anybody really. There's an hour time limit so it's nice to have a thinking game that doesn't require a three hour session. Also: The game play is easy, but the thinking is complex. Note: I've also played "EXIT", a similar game type. Also good.

These were nowhere near as fun as the last four sets. The Alice one was confusing, the Sherlock one was okay, but insert coin was great! All in all, I wish they sold these separately and I wish the games had the same quality as the last several groups did.

Love unlock games. The game is easy to learn and comes with an easy to use app. The games are often challenging with varying difficulty levels this set was interesting with the sherlock mystery to solve added a murder mystery aspect and the alice game was a little straightforward and unsuprising.

entregado en tiempo y forma. Gran juego, me falta la última aventura pero hasta ahora no me ha decepcionado nada. Tenía experiencia jugando Exit pero nada con Unlock y puedo decir ahora que lo recomiendo mucho, al menos este set de aventuras
