Great starter kit, can easily make quality ammo once set up. I bought this because I got interested in skeet shooting but wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on a Mec. I had prior reloading experience, but not with shotshells. After a bit of practice, one can reload shells as quick as any other single stage press. I've loaded over 750 shells since buying 4 months ago with little issue. Make sure you have the correct hull/wad combo. I gave 4 stars because not sure how long the mostly plastic construction will last.

After reviewing on you tube, tried thus reloaded and mad 250, 12 gauge in no time, very pleased with it and the price😀

Great little kit for reloading. This is made for reloading lead, not steel. Living in south Florida, steel shot shells are hard to come by, and if I can find them, they are almost $40 per box! Using the Lyman's manual, the powder bushings are way off the mark so I have to weigh the powder, but the shot bushings are off by about 5 grains(using the 1 5/8 lead bushing for 1 1/8 oz steel). I have actually contacted Lee and made a suggestion for steel shot bushings for this and make them in a different color so as not to confuse them with the lead bushings. No reply yet. Still a nice little kit for the hunting camp, small working areas, or starting to reload without breaking the wallet.

If your looking at reloading this is the starters ticket into the land of shotgun shell reloading and tired of buying shotshells for trap but don't want to go High end this is your way in.This is essentially the Single stage shotgun press. The closest your gonna find. This is probably one of the more safe yet fun ways to reload.Wouldn't buy the caliber conversion for the price just buy another press configured.Yes you can buy the caliber conversion. However the biggest helpful hints.Drill a hole in the top of the lid so you can empty out the shot then the powder if you are going to empty it.Pay close attention to the crimp of your once fired shells there is a 6 and a 8 crimp 8 is in the back then the finish crimp.All are in need of shimming with flat washers to get better crimps. I have found 1in the reprimer hole and 4 taped/glued together for the crimping.You might need to push your Wads down a little more with a wooden dowl or your finger. This can use a shim flatwasher to yet only 1 and it may not be necessary. The spacing of wad from powder and the tip of were your shot stops is all important to pay attention to.For the money and the kinds of Quality Ammo you can produce this is totally worth it.1. Follow all directions2. Collect all your Consumables (Hulls/Wads/Primers/Powder/LED) and your essentially set remember Flat Washers from Fassnel drawers at wally world.3. Be patient and study up first.4. Don't be afraid to booger up a couple just starting out it takes time and it is how you learn.
