This is easily one of my favorite kitchen accessories. I use it several times a week, particularly for making hash brown cubes from potatoes, and it performs beautifully every time. The blade slices through potatoes with ease, making meal prep quick and effortless. What really sets this apart from other kitchen tools, like traditional mandolins, is how safe it is to use. I no longer have to worry about accidentally slicing my fingers, which is a real concern with most mandolins. In fact, it’s safe enough for my 12 and 13-year-olds to use, which is a huge bonus for getting them involved in meal prep. Another great feature is how easy it is to clean. Cleanup is quick and straightforward, which is a big plus in any busy kitchen. We all know that the harder something is to clean, the less likely we are to use it, so the simple maintenance of this tool makes it a go-to in my kitchen. As for long-term durability, time will tell how well the blade holds up, but so far it’s doing an amazing job. I admire well engineered products and this is a well engineered product. I purchased this mandolin to make baked (purple - Stokes) sweet potato chips; I used to hand slice the potatos. Traditional mandolins don't seem safe to me because your hand is either exposed, or semi-exposed to the blade. Not so, with this device. I felt very safe using it to make thin (controllable thickness) slices, without wasting potato at the end of the job to protect my hands. I felt I had full control over the thickness of the slices. Clean up was easy. Most countertop appliances have no suction and are unstable or too much suction and can't easily be removed from the counter. The suction cups on this device are right in the Goldilocks range, just right. Before purchasing I was a bit confused, even after watching the vendor's video, about the two control nobs, 1 and 2, on the back of the device. There are two separate slicer blades and blade set A alternates with blade set B. One knob controls blade set A and one is for blade set B. If both sets are raised your veges will be very thinly sliced (strips, think julienned slicing); with one set raised (either A or B) your slices will be wider. With both sets lowered you will get full chips, which matches my settings for chips. Another pre-sales concern: how much effort does it take to slice. Not much, it should be easy for an elderly person to slice away. One post-sale confusing item: It took me a while to figure out how to release the slicing handle/plunger. You have to twist to release, or twist to lock. The plunger can't be moved if locked. Overall, this product saves me time, produces a superior sliced chip that is very consistent in size, is safer to use than a hand knife or a traditional mandolin and is easy to clean. How good is that?

This product really makes cutting and cooking fun! The blade is sharp and effective, and it makes meal prep so much easier — especially for chopping potatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and other vegetables. The build quality feels very solid and well-made. The only downsides I’ve noticed are that cleaning the blade isn’t very easy, and bits of food often get stuck underneath the moving part. I wish it could be fully disassembled for more thorough cleaning. I’ve never tried putting it in the dishwasher, so I can’t comment on that aspect. Another minor issue is the container capacity — it fills up pretty quickly, and sometimes you’ll find diced pieces falling onto the table before you realize it’s full. On the bright side, the suction cups on the bottom keep it firmly in place while cutting, which is a huge plus. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It’s sharp, sturdy, and makes kitchen prep much easier!

I want to share two important points from real experience. First: do not trust Amazon’s star rating system or percentages. Sellers often reuse the same ratings across multiple different products. You can see in the reviews that people are clearly talking about different items. I documented this and sent proof to Amazon over a year ago and nothing was done. Be smart: read carefully, and if a product doesn’t perform in 1–3 days, return it. Free returns exist for a reason. Second: this mandoline is excellent. After reviewing about 30 different mandolines on Amazon and having technical knowledge of manufacturing quality, this one stood out immediately. The construction looks and feels German-grade. Very solid and precise. I originally bought it for a food business where cooks were using cheap wooden mandolines ($6–7). They wore out monthly and caused frequent finger injuries. I introduced this safer system. After one hour of use, I went back and ordered two more as backups. We sliced thousands of green bananas (for Honduran/Venezuelan/Colombian dishes) plus many other foods. The slice thickness control was precise and consistent—perfect for frying. Durable, safe, and practically impossible to break. Now traveling in Argentina, I’m ordering another one for my family here so they can experience good quality products. Highly recommended.

I love it! It was exactly what I wanted. It was so easy to set up and so easy to use. Granted I only used one setting so far but I’m sure the other settings will be pretty easy. My potato was sliced in seconds! My last mandolin sliced my thumb really bad so I’m glad my hands and fingers are no where near the blades. Thank God!

I returned it back and got refunded. The item was too flimsy.

When I opened the box, the cleaning brush 🖌️ was missing. Please arrange it.

There are no proper instructions and it doesn’t work as described. Totally disappointed
