Best dental floss but very expensive

The last two packs of these I bought were great (in the old blue packaging) but these have much thinner floss, shred easily after two or three teeth and it’s much harder to get tension on the floss to get it between your teeth. It’s either a faulty batch or a re-design, but I will not be buying these again. A complete waste of money this time. Not fit for purpose any more.

I’ve tried many toothbrushes that claim to do the job, but none have ever managed to reach my back teeth properly. That is, until I found these! Work well but break really easily. Very good at getting in those hard to reach places. However, often I’ve only done some of my teeth and it snaps and all that’s left is another bit of broken useless plastic which will last forever.

Discovered these when I visited my dentist who uses them in his practice. Nice quality and very comfortable to use. They have a variable tension on the floss, adjustable by squeezing the body, I found this really useful for my teeth that are quite close together and that other flossers got stuck with. Worth the money.

I have been using these floss picks for years. Always found them very satisfactory, and lucky enough that it has helped me not have any gum problems. However this last batch is unbelievably awful. Approx 1 in 5 picks actually work - but they break before the end of one flossing. The others shred between the teeth; I have to cut through the "string" with a pair of scissors to get them out from between my teeth, which sometimes causes bleeding in my gums. The batch no of this last packet is: 4344857100. If receiving a packet with this number, I would advise returning it. Very disappointing.

Just what was required

I love this product, I am only able to use these to properly and effectively floss my teeth as I suffer with gingivitis so the dentist recommend this, however the dentist seems to add additional costs on to this product and they don’t seem to sell at supermarkets so this is the go to place to purchase decent floss sticks that actually work and are dentist recommended at a lower price!!
