Bright!
Sometimes it’s hard to point out our kids to other family members at hockey games. These laces help so much! The kids love the colors and we love being able to see them right away when compared to other players on the ice.

As Described, but could be improved
The laces are solid and came to the exact length. They have a little elasticity to them, which is appreciated. They are listed as “wide” and this is accurate. They are very wide, making them a little difficult to manipulate in youth skates. The molded “plastic” is definitely molded, but there is not much of a plastic coating around it.

Inaccurate Lace Lengths
I wanted to get new laces for my Mission inline skates (Mens Skate Size 7.5E) and measured my original pair for reference. They measured out to 108 inches exactly. I ordered a 108 inch replacement set and found them to be ridiculously long based on the boxes recommended skate size. When I measured the replacement laces themselves they were almost 120 inches in length. I ordered a second set of 108 inch as well as a 96 inch set. When they arrived, the second 108 inch set was still too long. They measured longer than 108 inches, but shorter than the first set I ordered. I then measured the 96 inch version and it was slightly longer than 96 inches, but def shorter than my original 108 inch laces. The lace material does flex and get more taut so when I laced them up and put my skate on, the laces tied like my original laces. I don't wrap my laces around my ankles, so ultimately, I went with the 96 inch laces and suggest going one lace length smaller than what the box recommends. If you do wrap you ankles, you might want to consider getting the recommended size.

Great hockey laces
I really like these, they're thick and tough with easy to grab laces for tightening. I prefer these cotton style over wax laces which can be a real headache. These are long and wide, perfect for getting my skates nice and tight.

big, super soft, stays tied relatively well
my roller skates are US women's size 10.5/11 (wide fit), and these laces (bought the 96" ones) are literally perfect. they're easy to get through the eyelets, my fingers don't hurt after tightening them AT ALL, and they're just the right length when tied. not to mention, the black-on-black with white specks looks great.the tips don't have any plastic on the ends; it's just melted/molded cloth, whatever you want to call it, which i've known to have lasted much longer than simple plastic tips in the past. the laces didn't come frayed at all, and arrived in two days. really happy with emupdate: tried out my skates with these laces for two hours at a rink. they got a little loose at the top about an hour through, but not enough to concern me. just a quick stop to tighten and i was ready for the rest of my time there
