Automatic pill dispenser
We purchased this dispenser for a family member. She could not remember to take her medications. It has been a great decision. The device was very easy to program and works just as described. My only recommendation is I wish it had automatic DLS. I would recommend this item to all my family and friends.

A Dispenser That Provides Safety
This was bought for my 92 year old mother. It fits her needs well because she has dementia and the pill despenser gives off an alarm each time she needs to take medication, which is several times daily. It has enough compartments for multiple days and multiple times a day. My mom can't be trusted to handle her meds, but this dispenser gives me peace of mind that her meds are being given out as they they should be. My only complaint is it is charged by batteries. I don't like worrying about her not being able to get to her medicine if the batteries run down. Other than that, it's a good dispenser.

Good pill dispenser choice.
I have had the dispenser for a week now and it works quite well. Only negative is the locking mechanism could be improved. You have to double check to see if the lid is securely locked. Engaging the key in the lock is not always easy to determine.

A LIFESAVER
The first one I got had a defective battery case. One quick call and it was replaced. My 91 year old mother can't quite keep track of her days. Med management is EXPENSIVE. This allows me to fill her pills for 28 days (one drop of pills/day) or multiple drops/day. Sometimes it takes her a bit to realize what the beeping is, but it beeps and lights up until she turns it upside down to retrieve the pills.

Failed on first use; no fix other than replace. Save your $$ and buy something else.
the instructions were clear and set-up was not difficult. However, at the first set alarm time, the device displayed an "Err" on the screen, green lights around the device lit up, and there was no way to clear it or reset it. I "power cycled" it by pulling the batteries out and placing them back in (fresh, new batteries, not the generic brand batteries that were included with the device). Reseating the batteries allowed the device error to go away, but it was only temporary. The next "alarm" time arrived and the device blinked green and displayed the same "Err" message on the screen. For a contraption this expensive to fail immediately out of the box, I have no faith in the product quality and will be returning it. Additional concerns regarding quality is that the device must be locked in order for the door to be closed (it does not snap or click closed). Overall, the concept is great, but the quality and execution is horrible. 1 star is generous.

Dandy Concept! I wish the unit would last longer than 1 year....
THIS is a GOOD THING for forgetful or easily confused persons. The pills appear with a tone when due, and the tone sounds for 30 minutes. When the door is opened the tone stops. Now, as others have noted, the key to unlock the device is connected to a piece of plastic, too easily broken. Also, the device does NOT stay together unless the lock is used. Also, the inevitable banging of the device to release a stuck pill inside - will completely unhinge the box if it is not locked. A simple Robertson head or even phillips head on the lock would suffice in most cases, the tamp-pruf key is overkill. The box is just like your house, if anyone REALLY wants to get in, they can- Also the alarm only sounds for a half hour. A better scheme would be 5 minutes at the dose time, then 2 minutes every half hour after that. A blinking LED until the dose is taken would also be a great addition. If the person is hard of hearing, sleeping, or in another part of the house when the alarm goes off, the unit doesn't make a peep after that. It needs a 'NAG!' function :-) The setup is simple on the unit, and overall function has been good. If these improvements were added, I think it would beat any other unit on the market! 7/29/23 Just received the replacement unit for the one ordered 3/21/22. It seems the lifespan of the unit is just about 1 year, then the display goes away, and it is useless.

Secure med container
We bought this for my mother in law who has the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. Meds were a huge part of letting her stay in independent living longer. It’s easy to program, Comes with 2 “keys” this design could be better but for the comfort of knowing she only has access to her meds at the time we program. This is great for one a day especially. We have it set to open at 7 am and an alarm will ring for a half hour (until need door is opened) then shuts off either way. She only has access to these meds until the next dose. In this case 24 hours. If she doesn’t take them in that time frame they get locked in and the next dose is available. It’s very easy for us to track and make sure she’s taking them. Love this and right now it’s on a huge sale. Very well made. Only need one and there are 28 spaces.

Great dispenser! I lost the second key and was wondering if replacements are available for purchase?

Bought it for my elderly mother. She fell in love with it instantly. She takes pills of all sizes, some very tiny. Never experienced the problem mentioned by others with small pills jumping into the next compartment when unit is shaken (it needs to be turned upside down to stop buzzing). The only drawback I can see is that when the carrousel is refilled, it needs to be set to dispense from one of the first compartments, leaving the ones that not been emptied untouched. Unless you let the unit dispense from all compartments, and then refill it, the compartments at the end of the carrousel will never be emptied or the pills they contain can stay there a very long time. There's no way to easily take pills from the end of the carrousel to move them toward the beginning. Note however that it's a minor problem. Love the product.

Se retrasa un poco el reloj digital, pero creo que es la mejor compra que he realizado. Super recomendable para personas a las qué se les olvida tomarse sus medicamentos.
