Have a car in Florida but had not been there for 6 months. Prior to going down to Florida, I asked my neighbor to start the car. Unfortunately, the battery was dead. Prior to leaving for Florida, I ordered this jump starter with the hope that I could quickly and easily jump my battery. Well, it was quick and easy and my car started right up!! Fantastic product to have.

The starter arrived about 80% charged. I charged it up to 100% in about 20 minutes. The solid light and strobe lights are very bright. The starter is easy to connect to the battery and is a very convenient size to keep in the car. It is much easier to use than jumper cables. Since I just got it I have not had a chance to use it yet, although I expect to use it in the near future on my 2007 Suburban.

Ok, I’ve just received this unit and haven’t actually jumped a dead battery yet, however I’ve given this item 4 stars for now based on functionality and design. It has a nice bright LED flashlight with SOS mode as well as the standard flashlight functionality. It has 2 USB charging ports and a C type usb cord that plugs into the unit and has a regular USB on the other end to plug into a USB outlet for charging the unit. It has light bars which register when a button is pressed to show the total amount of charge left in the units backup battery. It looks nice, feels rugged and is compact and comes with a very nice carrying bag. Charge a cell phone or two with it. iPad charge capabilities as well as jump a standard vehicles battery. See the photos, I’ll update this review when I’ve been able to test out the jump start function. Thank you for reading... if nothing else this unit is so compact it makes a great backup charger for any tablet or cellphone. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve been out and in need of a quick charge for my cell phone. Very nicely done. Seems like a good quality device. My neighbor & I LOVE this box! It came fully charged. We started her van as soon as I opened the box - in the dark! Instructions are super easy. She has a giant jump box, but it doesn't work well. She uses my little jump box everyday. I carry it in my glovebox & forgot it for a week. It had 2 power bars & started her van after we pushed the boost button. We almost fought over this box! She tries to use it & tries to "forget" to return it. Now I start her van & take the box back home. Ladies, you MUST get this for your own peace of mind. You'll be glad you won't need a jump from creepy people or look for someone with cables who is willing to jump start your vehicle. Excellent value!

Haven’t needed to use it yet, but I’ve used similar ones and they work great! It’s very portable, and it comes in a nice case that holds the jumper cables and the instructions nicely. Would definitely recommend!

This worked well for me and my 2015 Hyundai Sonata with the 2.4 engine. One morning she wouldn't crank over so I ordered this. It arrived the next day about 75% charged. I plugged it in and let it charge until full, about an hour. Went down to the car and cranked her right up, no hesitation. After driving to the auto parts store and changing the battery, I brought the unit back inside and plugged it in. Showed about a 75% charge but within 20 minutes it was full again. So handy to have one of these.

Great product, great price but they didn’t include the plug to attach to the charging cord so that it may be charged periodically. I purchased 6 of these and now have to go get 6 little plugs. Why????

Last night I tried to jump start my friend's truck - this was the fourth vehicle I have attempted to jump start with this unit. All attempts to start a vehicle did not work - this is a good backup cell phone charger, but don't buy this thinking it's going to do much more than that.
