Great Product
This product works great, and if used with a guide, it makes a surprisingly straight and square cut. Will eventually get the larger version.

Buy a chainsaw instead.
The theory behind this thing is great the practical application not so much. Put it on a 7 1/4 Milwaukee fuel circular saw. You can’t get a square cut to save your life. I tried with a square clamped to the beam and two people holding the saw you have to fight it to keep it square up top and the end of the bar will still walk on you. I ended up going back over every cut with a chainsaw and should’ve just started there to begin with. Save yourself the money and buy a small chainsaw. The photo is of the after going back through with a chainsaw. You’d think this is exactly what the thing is made for.

Works great, good price if you already have a circular saw that is compatible.
Finally got to use my beam cutter. Cut 3 stair stringers at the same time from from some 2" thick white pine that I milled from a dead fall. Couldn't be more pleased. Easily attached to my 50 year old Craftsman circular saw. Does not have a chain oiler, so i got a squirt can and filled it with bar and chain oil to lube the bar and chain.

Does not fit Dewalt DCS574 without some work
On the Dewalt DCS574 (20V), you need to remove the blade guard. So you have to pop the C ring and remove the coiled spring. It's not too bad, but a hassle. The Prazi will not sit vertically because of the placement of the angle slot. I had to fabricate a plate (1.25" steel bar) to get the chain to sit perpendicularly to the saw base. A little angle grinder, bastard file, and drill work is all that's needed. I used two 1/4" steel machine screws into the saw. Performance-wise, the DCS574 is OK, but you need to go slowly. I am cutting Eucalyptus 6x8 timbers.

Doesn't fit on two different DeWalts :(
I have a new saw I went and bought and a two year old DeWalt, didn't fit either one. Went and dug out a very old Ryobi I've had forever with a bigger bolt than supplied and it fit perfectly once I found a bolt that would fit out of my bolt bin. Cuts good but if your a novice user, make yourself a straight edge to get rid of the wavyness. It's also hard to see a line due to the chips that it throws up and guess that's to be expected. Other than that, it's a great tool to have, was surprised to see a chain adjustment because some of the others don't have one. just hope it lasts!

A+ customer service
This attachment does work really well for cutting wood > 3” thick. When it’s working, it cuts an 3” walnut slab like butter. After a couple of uses, the bearings stripped. I sent a message to their support and someone got back to me within the hour, on a Sunday, no less! He explained what happened, how to prevent, and is sending me new bearings to fix the attachment. THAT is how you do customer service!

This is a tool that requires 110% focus when used. And past skills in circular saw usage. Now to the function from box to saw within minutes following the instructions. Practice before use, a couple of times before the big cut, saw chain and regular blade has a different finish so take this into account.
