4.8 Ton Snatch Block

As a professional stunt rigger, I like to see a manufacturer commit and stand behind their quality by stamping either a working load or some accepted rating system on their product. Made is China, so really, you have no idea about quality control. That being said, grease fitting, good fit and finish, smooth operation and certainly handled dragging 20+ long ash logs 150' out of the woods and over a creek.

I'm using this to haul logs / tree trunks out of the forest up to a road where they're accessible. This is a bit overkill for what I'm doing, I haven't come close to 22000 lb capacity, but so far so good. Nice tool to have in the arsenal for moving heavy things around.

It looks like some of the reviews between the different size snatch blocks are mixed. The movie clip shows grease fitting but then you see it is the larger 10T. Some reviews list grease fittings, also not this one. I took out the can of Zep spray and the roller smooths right up. You just might want to keep a can handy if your away from the shop and use this snatch block much.

Great snatch block! Perfect size for my Polaris general. These things are amazing and double the pull power of your winch. Highly recommend for anyone who gets in trouble a lot! LOL! Also great for pulling other people out. Shortens your pull distance but is much easier on your winch. I hall addl straps and ropes to give me the length I need. Highly recommend!

Very heavy duty, it helped raise a 50 foot tower with no issues. Stayed together even after being dropped on to concrete from 20 feet above. It’s rock solid!

These are great. Reasonably priced. I Bought 3. Has a grease fitting. Robust construction and heavy gauge metal.It’s a solid piece and based on the weight, quite sturdy! Red is nice and bright so you don’t lose them during recovery.Buy with confidence !

Used to several times, holds up great, will get you out of a tight spot Forsure. Greaseable pulley is a high bonus as well; I can see this lasting a long time.

Unit had too much clearance on outside of puly. Machined bushing to shorten it on lathe. This fixed the problem.

I've already used it a couple of times and has held up, much better than the ranger atv model I tried first. This one appears to be well built and good value.

Much heavier than expected and will be useful for my ATV as well as pulling cars into my trailer.
