Past Lives for Beginners: A Guide to Reincarnation & Techniques to Improve Your Present Life (Llewellyn's For Beginners, 38)

I try not to write a review until I have read the entire book. This book is very important too learning more about past lives. The only thing I don't like is that it gives you your date of death as well. I think that this is un-intentional though.

Very easy to understand and read. Good techniques are given for self-exploration. Chances are that if you're already into chakras, angel workings, kabbalah and sim...youre already had some experiences from this book. And after reading and practicing from this book great picture will become more clear. I must correct one reviewer bellow who said that in this book author give you "exact time of death". That reviewer is wrong and he or she needs to read the book. Author only describes moments of deaths of his clients and process of past-life therapy. Plus book is very positive. My only problem with the book is this: presented clients in the book are in their past life "victims" and "good" persons, but why not present some "evil" cases!? Does the process is same for them? Next, does the angel also embraces some (for ex.) porn actress or actor, and does that same human look hers/his own life with spirit guides? Why not to explore those and similar themes? What is karma then for that person? We need claer answers to all these if past life therapy is needed to be taken for respected method.

There are spelling/grammatical errors throughout the book which make it hard to take seriously. I prefer books written by Dr. Linda Backman and may have to stick with them in the future.

This book is a amazing for anyone who believes in reincarnation and interested in learning about their past lives. It was a insightful read which I couldn't put down, I have now landed to my dad read it and he is just amazed that I am as he too couldn't put it down either.

I couldn't wait for the release! I have all of Douglas Delongs' books. I have read all the well known authors of New Age. He is the first one that really resonates with me. His personal style of writing is easy to read and understand and well backed up with examples of past life regressions he has conducted. He shares his techniques and provides exercises that the reader can use to increase their own abilities to view their past lives. If you are curious about past life regression and would like to read how it can assist in solving current life issues, this is your book. Something for everyone whether if new to the subject or well verse. Definitely worth the read
