It works as expected, quick to install.It does not light a 24 inch tank very well, and not a lot of shimmer.The remote is really small and the buttons don't fully click sometimes, we will see how long they last.

A fine freshwater, full spectrum (adjustable), fixture. I wanted a bright, full spectrum, timed, programmable fixture, and I got that. IMO, the rest of the features are fluff... not something I would want, or ever use. I have sunrise set, and use moonlight at night (both adjustable for spectrum and brightness). I wish I could program multiple day/night sequences, so that I could decrease the number of "daylight" hours, but still have full light when I am around and awake. I've not discovered a way. Perhaps there could be a firmware upgrade; but I do not know how one could load it. This fixture must have full ventilation! Will not work in an enclosed hood, though it does shut down to keep itself from burning up. You'll need to add a fan if you use it in an enclosed hood.
