God Bless Our Easter: An Easter and Springtime Book for Kids (A God Bless Book) Board book – February 4, 2014

This an adorable board book for babies and toddlers discussing God’s animals and spring time. It really is more of a spring book, rather than an Easter book. It mostly refers to Easter being in the Spring. “God gave us spring and all it brings, God bless our Easter day.” It goes on to talk about the rain filling puddles and the piglet hopping in them. A newborn chick hatching. “God made her shell, her wings and tail. He loves her through and through.” The goats are eating God’s flowers. A duckling swimming in the water. A puppy and a butterfly. A colt trying out its legs. And the last page it reads about God sending his Son, Jesus Christ and that he was risen on Easter Day. If you are looking for a book specifically on the Easter story, then this isn’t it. But if you already have a lot of those and want some other types of Easter books or just a cute book for around Easter time for little ones, then this is a great addition.

This book was absolutely loved by the grandkids who are 20 months and 30 months old. Absolutely beautiful book!! For toddlers and young children appreciating God's creation is a wonder producing, awe inspiring lesson that will help them understand God's love for them as they gain in understanding. Only then will they understand the love God showed by sending his only begotten Son to live among us and die for our salvation. I understand reviewers who are concerned about "not enough about the Resurrection" but after four kids and eight grandkids I understand that building a little one's concept of God and creation is also foundational. I look forward to reading the book over and over and over with our little ones.

Bought this for my daughter who is 10 months old. She loves the book God Bless you and Goodnight so I decided to purchase another book in the series. God Bless Easter is just lovely. It’s in the same rhythmic pattern as God Bless you and Goodnight. She instantly lit up when I began to read it to her. She recognized the rhythm. Super cute pictures of sweet little animals. I enjoy reading it to her as well. Great series of books. Will purchase others!

I love this book! It incorporates farm animals without exploiting them which is rare for books with farm animals in it. We are vegan for ethical and health reasons so anyway I’m careful what message I’m reading to my son in books about animals. This is just an innocent book respecting life for how beautifully God created it.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! THEY ARE MY GO-TO GIFT. I've bought these books for baby shower gifts, Christmas gifts and for my own kids. I just adore these books. They are so beautifully worded...very sincere wording that rhymes, along with the most adorable artwork. These are thick books with a nicely padded cover. An essential in every Christian home! Highly recommend to any and all!

ALL of the books in the "God Bless" series are adorable!!!! My kids favor these books most of all. The pictures are bright and cheerful, and the words are always simple and easy to read to children. I would HIGHLY recommend buying all of them!!

Good little book

Lovely drawings and a sweet rhyming reminder for young children that all we have, God gave us. The artwork is precious and the words bright and fun. And, as the book reminds us, the greatest gift we've been given is Easter--all because of Jesus, our King.A sure favorite with little ones, birth through age 7, for grandparents, parents, and Sunday school teachers alike. Highly recommend the God Bless series!

Such a cute little book. Wonderfully written and illustrated. Includes a message about Jesus while celebrating Easter and new life.
