Sturdy built and very sharp needles that work well. I use these for hand stitching leather projects and I’m pleased with the ease of use on pieces that don’t require pre punched holes, these pierce even very thick leather easily. I did a lot of hand -made leather bags back in my hippy days. These needles are like the ones I used so many years ago but a little better! This set has a nice variety of sizes, no problem threading them with thicker thread…a size for every need. The quality is amazing, very impressed, goes through leather easily. 100% recommend these….

These are very sharp and strong enough to go through unpunched cow sides with relative ease. The only drawback I've encountered is that they are so sharp along the edges that they can cut the thread already there when you go back along the stich line in the other direction. They are also almost too sharp for Lambskin as the hold they make is a small slit which can make odd stretch or tear if the material is too taught.
