I'm not proud to admit but I own 20 garlic presses. This one is very nice. It's smaller and light weight compared to the bulky modern ones. I prefer to old vintage style ones and this one is pretty close to that. Now as for garlic crushing or pressing I cannot tell you how well it performs. See I use them for sculpting butter, not joking and I teach others this requiring many garlic presses. So if you need fluffy butter in thin curls this is a good choice.

I bought this garlic press to replace one that I own that does a terrible job of pressing garlic. My old press barely gets any garlic through the holes. This little press squeezes every last bit out and works great. I was surprised when it arrived by it's small size. You will need to cut large cloves to fit in the small basket of this press. How would I improve this product? I would make the basket larger and I would make the handles a solid piece of metal instead of indented like they are. Solid handles would be sturdier and are easier to wash. While I am pleased with my purchase and this press works so much better than my old press, I gave it four stars because of the small size.

Small and easy to use! This is my second one like this. I had to wait longer to get it than others listed on Amazon, but it was worth it. I went ahead and purchased a couple of other garlic presses before ordering the same one I used for a long time. I am guessing I used my old one for over 25 years. It is not stainless steel like the ones I tried, which were very hard to press and bulky.

This is a well made aluminum garlic press. No sharp parts and has a stainless steel pin to hold the hinge together. This will be a long lasting garlic press. It is quite light in weight and has somewhat thin handles and a smallish working area where the garlic is actually pressed. So for people with largish hands this is going to be a little difficult to use. The handles are a little thin and not much clearance as they come together completely straight and flat. So I feel that I can’t get a lot of force to squeeze the garlic clove. They are also very smooth and with wet hands are not easy to grip as they do not have any contouring or texture. My main complaint is that they actual press part is very small and can’t hold more than one smallish clove. Made in Germany, not ‘China’. I will say it is well made but not well designed for large hands or large capacity of garlic.

It is a very well made piece of equipment and I purchased it thinking it would be easy to clean. It is easy to clean and easy to use. Unfortunately, because of its design the garlic squishes out the top as much or more than the bottom, which doesn't get it into my pan. I plan to return this item.

Excellent product

...Sarà anche "German quality"... ma viene dalla Cina. In ogni caso il materiale sembra buono, mentre il cestello estraibile facilita leggermente la pulizia. Il problema, come riportato in altre recensioni, è lo spazio eccessivo che rimane tra la pressa e il cestello.. In pratica 3/4 dello spicchio d'aglio esce fuori dai lati.

Valuto per quanto ho pagato quindi ho pagato poco e ho ottenuto un prodotto buono; il rapporto qualità prezzo mi fa dare 5 stelle L aglio che resta all' interno uno volta schiacciato bisogna toglierlo subito con uno stuzzicadente
