As soon as I got these combs in the mail, I used them on my malti shi poo right away. They worked so well! I was able to get her tangles and knots out even in hard places like her legs and it was comfortable to hold in my hand. The stainless steel fells like great quality and the needles (not sure what to call it rn I forgot) were thin but not too thin where they feel like it would break. It was perfect to gently comb my little puppies knots without hurting her. I am so glad I listened to my groomer and purchased these.

It removes loose hair and mats like a charm and really helps reduce shedding around the house. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the quality feels sturdy and long-lasting. My pup actually enjoys being brushed now—she’ll even sit still for it!

Items very sturdy. Good quality. I use them to get stickers and knots out of my dogs hair. I use them for cutting my husband's hair too - great with the electric trimmers.

Durable, easy to use, and quiet so as to not disturb your pet. They are definitely meant to be used for dogs - I hoped to use them for my cats but they are a bit awkward for that. Cat's need a shorter, more manageable comb with teeth a might closer but they work for now until I find something I like better. They are easy to clean and should not rust. They should work particularly well with dogs with long hair.

What a bargain.. two combs for the price and they work exactly as expected. Sturdy. Do not bend. Teeth are wide enough apart to remove snags without pulling and tearing at the hair.

These work great! My cats don't like being brushed. I was able to use the comb to take care of their compacted hair before it became matted!

I write this review in awe. All my life I’ve only ever had short-haired cats. When we adopted this cat off the streets, he was in very poor shape and appeared to be a short-haired cat too. Well, he turned out to be a Siberian. We live in a hot and humid tropical country. This is not a good combination. Keeping his new luxurious coat, the state of our house, and everyone’s tempers in good shape has been a bit of a learning curve. This cat has a wirey thick undercoat that mats easily and turns into hairballs that either upset his tummy, appetite, general mood, or all three. He is also a Fiercely Independent Macho Man. Grooming a grump that is set in his ways is not for the faint of heart, but these combs were happily tolerated. They slipped through his fur and gently pulled out matted tufts with the silkiest of whispers. He only let me de-tuft him for 90 seconds at the most, but the amount removed in that small window of time was easily the size of one of his bigger hairballs. This is a huge win in my book. To my great surprise, he seemed to like the comb very much on his head and around his ruff and muttonchops, and insisted on being combed for at least 10 minutes. He purred up a storm before passing out. I attribute this to how gently rounded the comb’s teeth are, and perhaps how the comb felt cool to the touch because it’s made of steel. We have spent a lot of money on all kinds of brushes, and one promising session will not undo the years of grooming glooms this cat seems to have gone through before arriving in my life, but these humble and modestly-priced combs are well worth their weight in gold for the hope of happiness and hygiene they’ve restored to my household. 5/5 stars.

We only use these combs on our Groodle. Daily combing keeps his fur knot free.
