TP-Link N300 Wireless N Wall-Plate Mounting Access Point, Support PoE 802.3af, 300Mbps Wi-Fi Speed, Simply Managed by Cloud Access and Omada app (EAP115-WALL, White)

Internet has started to work fine after failing on so many devices. I've created network mesh at home. Powering my CCTV, VDP, Floors, Devices, etc. I learnt the hard way that repeater doesn't help and one needs an access point.

For its price, this is the best EAP you can get. A major bonus is that it includes the free Omada controller software. I used it in my shop to set up voucher-based internet access, and it was incredibly easy to install and configure.

Be very careful of ordering this product. It does not have any way to power other than Power over Ethernet. If your router does not support POE or you don't have an injection device, this will NOT WORK.

Nice look and it works as specified, easy to install

Working well

Good product. Stable signal. However does not support 5GHz band. Works only at 2.5 GHz band. This may not be a disadvantage as 2.5 GHz band as a broad coverage compared to the 5GHz band. However speed will be limited.

Super performance router

Ordered this unit along with TP-Link PoE injector as recommended by Amazon at item description page. However this combination does not work. This router can only be powered in 2 ways: 1) 9V DC using supplied power adapter; 2) 802.3 af PoE switch capable of providing 36-57V/0.1A DC. It will not work with 24V PoE injector. Because the incompatibility, I have to return this one and replace with TP-Link EAP110 (indoor), which is also ordered from Amazon. I believe this one will works nicely with strong signal coverage as EAP110 thus a 5-star. Thanks to Amazon.in for understanding the compatibility issue and resolving it quickly.

Best product as described

The AC came with the incorrect PSU adapter. I believe this one is an EU adapter rather than a UK one..

Nachdem ich nun schon ein paar Wochen den TP-Link EAP225 und den TP-Link EAP115 in unserem Haus am laufen habe, werde ich hier kurz meine Erfahrung mit euch teilen. Zuerst haben wir den TP-Link EAP225 gekauft, Installation lief schnell und einfach. Haben in direkt über einer Unterputzdose (in unserem Flur im Erdgeschoss) mit Lan-Kabel verbaut. Daran angeschlossen und per Lan-Kabel PoE mit allem versorgt was man braucht. Per APP bzw. per PC Software oder WEB App auf den Access Point zugreifen. Passwörter und Benutzer erstellen, W-Lan Passwort und alles läuft. Der TP-Link EAP225 hat Dualband mit 1350 Mbit/s was auch bei einem Glasfaseranschluss vollkommen ausreicht. EMPFANG Top !! unsere Smartphones, Tablet und Laptop haben im EG einen Top empfang. Im Dachgeschoss und im Keller sieht es nicht so gut aus, hier haben wir an manchen Stellen nur sehr schlechten Empfang (liegt sehr wahrscheinlich an den Stahlbeton Decken. Deshalb gab es dann im Dachgeschoss den kleinen Bruder TP-Link EAP115 , dieser funkt nur im 2,4GHz Bereich, was aber für uns vollkommen ausreichend ist um mal hier und da was auf dem Smartphone zu checken und unsere W-Lan Steckdosen die nur 2,4GHz können zu betreiben. Alles in allem, bin ich mit dem Produkt absolut zufrieden und kann hier nur eine Kaufempfehlung geben, egal ob für den TP-Link EAP115 oder TP-Link EAP225.

Ho acquistato questo AP - estremamente semplice, solo 2.4GHz N300, senza supporto 802.11R fast roaming e tante altre amenità, come AP da mettere vicino al locale tecnico della casa. Nonostante il prezzo, si integra perfettamente nell'ecosistema omada (ho tre EAP610 sparsi tra casa e giardino) e fa perfettamente il suo lavoro. Ho svariati dispositivi sempre connessi alcuni dei quali fondamentali (PDC), e dal monitoraggio l'ultima disconnessione è 20 giorni fa... quando l'ho riavviato. Unica cosa da considerare, essendo un prodotto in-wall, va montato su scatola e l'alimentazione è solo PoE.
