I just LOVE these 7-in-1 color pencils! The colors are rich and smooth, and they apply beautifully. They make rich interesting marks and drawing with them is a creative pleasure. They make great little gifts for a visit with kids -- or adults. You can turn the pencil in your hand and use a side with a color you like, and find all kinds of ways to make fun designs. Drawings and doodles are impressionistic and you'll find different ways to use pressure or movement to create fun color combinations. Very inspiring and arty. A source of joy! I bought a 12-pack and gave one to all my younger relatives and a few grown-up friends, and I kept a couple for myself. These are terrific quality and the leads are a pleasure to put on paper.

These are fantastic rainbow pencils! They are expensive, but the reason was clear once we experienced the quality. They’re durable, made of nice wood, smoothed well for comfy grip, the colored core is firmly secured in the wood casing unlike lots of cheap pencils, and the color — the colors are wonderful and they apply well to paper. I got these for my 7 year old, but I like these so much that I find myself looking for excuses to use them.

These are well-made, and they do have the full ROY-G-BIV spectrum of colors in each one. I have no idea how they made them, but they're fun and they really work. I bought these to give a few to several aspiring young artists as gifts. They seem to be sufficiently sturdy to hold up to small hands earnestly using them. The reason for four stars rather than five is they're pricey for the number you get in one order. The quality is excellent, though, so I decided that's a fair trade-off for the cost. So far, all the recipients love them!

I gave these rainbow colored pencils in the party favor bags for my child’s 4th birthday. I decided to spend more than other similar pencils because the reviews showed that these break less often, and I didn’t want 3 and 4 year olds and parents getting frustrated with constant sharpening of broken pencils. They are great quality, I’m happy I chose them and they were an awesome party favor along with a multi-color ink pen and mini blank notebook.

These are truly great pencils! They are easy to hold and don't roll around. And so much fun to color with! When I first got them, I started to give them out to my friends, because after all, I did have 12. After giving a few away and then coloring with them, I am keeping all the rest!! I love to color in rainbow, the colors are so pretty and you can blend them so easily! Highly recommend, and I will definitely be purchasing more.

I have purchased these twice and both times got the wrong thing. What I have gotten each time is a set of 6 "highlighter" solid colored pencils.

Love these rainbow pencils. So fun to do dot to dot with.

Very nice pencils, but could not get all colors to show up. For example the blue would mix with the neighboring color and you see less blue.
