RMS Deluxe Sock Aid - Socks Helper with Foam Handles (for Regular Socks)

I dont usually do reviews on stuff I buy but had to comment on this thing. I had a complete hip replacement last week amd the biggest struggle was getting dressed. I figured out how to do everything except for socks, so I searched Amazon for a sock helper. This thing came today and I had to try it out right away because I had to wake my wife this morning so she could put my socks on. Well, this thing is magic, so easy to use and works great. Gets my socks on every time with no effort on my part. Great product.

Originally I bought this for myself mostly but then it didn’t work well for me. Glad I kept it though bc at the end of January my husband fell and broke his femur and ankle. It’s worked so well for him. He loves it. So it’s a no from me but a big thumbs up from him. Easy use and price was great . I will say the main issue I had was I’m not strong enough to get the sock on the holder. I’ve had two strokes leaving my one hand pretty weak. But he uses it with ease.

I wasn't sure my husband would use this, but decided to take a chance. I handed it to him and didn't see it again, so I thought it had been rejected. Recently, I found out that he liked it so much that he stores it in his sock drawer so it is easy to find. He uses it every day and says it makes putting on socks so much quicker and easier. He is able to stretch his Hanes crew socks over it easily. The black rubbery part keeps the sock from slipping as he puts his foot into the sock and pulls it over his foot. He proudly showed me how well it works this morning, so I figured I should leave a review to let others know it is a simple and effective gadget. He does still have to reach down to pull the sock the rest of the way up his calf, but his mobility is good enough that isn't an issue. He was having to hold his breath to get his socks on before and then getting light headed, so this is worth every penny.

Bought this for my husband and it works well. Very easy to use. The plastic is durable. Great aid for someone whose had surgery or to increase independence.

Very helpful device once you get the hang of it. Initially, I had difficulty getting the sock securely on, but once I figured that out I was pleased with how helpful it was for post op recovery from surgery. It has been sturdy so far.

Is super easy to put the socks on. Drop the 7yr old one and crack in half. Is a good product specially for persons with back issues and also for seniors.

Le seul hic, vous devez porter des bas suffisamment extensibles pour le passer par-dessus. Sinon, ce sera plus difficile pour les personnes souffrant d’arthrite aux mains.

This product is absolutely fantastic. So easy to use. Wish I had bought it sooner leading up to my hip surgery. Highly recommend and I don’t say this lightly.

Works gets your toes right into the end of your sock. Can't wait to see how it works on my compression socks. Why wait be right back. Well ok then, so pretty hard to load cause socks are so tight. However I figured out that if you pinch the sides and pull down, works pretty good. I just put a sock on and toes were in perfect and it took sock about halfway to knee. Then just used hands and pulled up rest of the way. Worked great. I believe these socks are a 15 in tightness. On a 25 or so you would likely have to oil up your foot to get it to slide through the plastic. It was kinda tight with 15 compression. But regular socks this unit works really good. I don't own ankle socks or sockets to test. Well I have sockets but they undue nuts. Anyway if you have bad hips or big guts I have both and putting on socks hurts the hip and knee. Ok update I just put on the other compression sock and what I said about pintch the sides.WRONG squeeze it a bit and slide the sock down easy peasy. Now the instructions say sit in a sturdy chair and your feet flat on the ground. Well I am not going to kitchen to put socks on,I am using a lazy boy recliner rocker. And I have no problem what so ever. My daughter will be really happy I have this cause after using big chainsaw for a day my hip has been sore for 3 weeks it is getting better but older ya get longer to heal. And she has been helping with socks. Mind you tonight will be the first time in 3 or 4 weeks since I wore compression socks as she could not get them on me. So if you can't bend over very well to put on socks this is a true game changer. As a matter a fact I am going to purchase another one for a fellow millwright at work that can't touch his toes and does not wear socks because of it.
