O2COOL5" Portable USB or Electric Fan

Best portable fan yet! And this is the THIRD one I've tried. This fan is pretty powerful, but obviously not as powerful as a huge, regular sized fan. I'm a Registered Nurse and I do a lot of running around and heavy lifting on the job. I tend to get really sweaty at work when I'm running around. When I go to chart, I plug this fan in, and it cools me down! It's not loud. I love that it can be adjusted up or down. The fact that I can plug it right into the computer is great, since there aren't always plugs available where I am sitting, but there is almost always a free USB port.It is the best made portable fans I've used. The others all broke within a couple of weeks of use. Basically, the other fans I bought would have a loose part near where the cord plugged into it, which would always end up breaking, or they barely generated any air flow. This one seems very sturdy. I've had it for about a year, and I use it every single day that I work. I pack it up and put it in my bag at the end of my shift, and take it out of my bag and plug it in at the beginning. So it gets quite a bit of wear and tear, and transport.Another awesome feature is the USB port plug. I've tried battery operated fans and those run out of batteries constantly, or they air flow they generate doesn't do anything hardly. I've had multiple co-workers ask me where I bought this fan and how they can get one. The price is incredibly affordable, making this a steal of a deal considering how well it works. It comes in multiple colors. It does come with an adapter to plug the USB into an actual outlet, but I usually just plug it into the computer.I can't say enough good things about this fan! This is a replacement for the older version, which I loved. Still a good fan that blows significant air. Very easy to take with you. What I don't like is that it only has one speed. Older model had two. Second, the button to switch it on is hard to use with one hand. Older model had an easy sliding button. As long as you have no hand/finger problems (like arthritis), this is an affordable, portable fan that move quite a bit of air for the size.

This fan is simply great. I run it via USB on my computer at work. Provides plenty of air circulation, without creating a whirlwind mess of my desk. I use it at about a 45 degree angle, instead of pointing directly at my face. That helps with preventing drying out of eyes for me.For a few days I was dragging it back and forth from work, and using it with the AC power plug (included) as a bedside fan. It snaps flat for transport, so this was easy. However, I decided it would be even easier just to buy a 2nd one!Sturdy, attractive, small footprint, and does the job of circulating air in an office that can get pretty stuffy otherwise. Also good "white noise" for sleeping (especially when staying at a hotel, which I am doing at present, on assignment away from home), but not so noisy that it interferes with sleep, movie streaming, etc. Also, I like the feeling of the moving air when I am falling asleep. If you don't, then just turn it away from facing you, so you still get the white noise benefit.Glad I bought this!Excellent product!

Bought this for my desk at work. Product is so lightweight that it does not remain in the direction I place it. The strength of the flimsy cord is strong enough to twist the fan. The cord is located on one side of the fan and pretty short. It is also pretty loud, reminds me of the sound of some vacuum cleaners. I have bought about 10 of these little o2cool fans now, but this is the first one of this version - the 10 similar ones I've had would receive 4-5 stars. This fan, zero stars. Should be sold at a dollar store.

I ordered this based on other reviews, but was not impressed with the quality of the fan. It works well enough, but feels cheap. I would not order this again personally, and would order another ARCTIC Breeze Mobile USB-Powered fan, which lacks the shielding, but was overall a much nicer quality product.This fan is a little loud for me to feel comfortable using in the office and makes me regret the purchase for that factor, but it does move a decent bit of air. I don't feel like it is a quality product and unless you need to have a USB power source, the honeywell fans were a much better product even with their recent decline in quality. When you open this fan to use it the housing bends more than it should, giving the feeling that it may fall apart before use.

This fan is great! I don't have a lot of desk space to dedicate to a fan, so I wanted something compact but that would produce enough air flow to keep me cool (I run very hot and am usually sweating while others are freezing). This fan fits the bill perfectly. It's small enough to fit in the space under my monitor, but is very powerful and quiet (a slight hum, but nothing distracting). And with the adjustable base, I can get direct or indirect air depending on my needs. Absolutely love it!

For a 5" fan it puts out a good amount of air and operates at a decent noise level. It does come with a usb plug and an adapter to plug it directly into the wall; the wire is of decent length.The fan has 4 angles that it can be adjusted to face and is perfectly stable due to the round stand. It is great for travel because it folds up real small.The color is also very cute (but you already know that)

I have had stronger portable fans before, but this fan still does a good job. it is quiet enough to be able to use in a library without attracting attention (unlike the other stronger fans that I have).It can be powered by both USB or an outlet, but no battery. The USB power is slightly weaker than when it is plugged into the wall, but it still works well enough to cool you off. I don't think I would recommend this if you live somewhere that is sweltering hot with no AC, but I would recommend it for those of you who feel you need it when the current amount of AC is inadequate.
