Perfect trio!!!
This kit is widely considered a "gold standard" for over-the-counter acne care, primarily because it combines three of the most effective acne-fighting ingredients into one routine. It addresses the three main causes of acne: excess oil, clogged pores, and bacteria.

Adult Cystic Acne and Sensitive Skin
I will be updating this review as time goes on. I bought this product four days ago (today is 8/29/22. I am in awe. I have been struggling with adult/cystic acne for years and have tried damn near everything. Even the fancy expensive skincare products and everything makes it WORSE. I have very sensitive skin and was getting to the point where I was getting new acne every couple of days and it was very inflamed and red. I noticed minor scarring happening and panic purchased this skin set (which I often do when I get flare ups but to no avail). I noticed a different within 12 hours of the first use. I used this at night and when I woke up my acne was noticeably less red and inflamed. In the four days I have been using this product I have not gotten ANY new acne. Which is a miracle. The current acne is getting less noticeable with each use and I want to cry I feel so relieved. Couple of notes: 1. This has been working for my acne, my acne is adult and cystic and I have sensitive skin. They may not work for different skin/acne types. 2. This is fairly drying, please use a light moisturizer after use. 3. Apply step 2 and 3 very lightly, if you do too much it will feel like a strong menthol burning sensation. 4. Use a cotton pad to apply step 2, it’s a liquid and can’t be applied with just your hands. 5. This is a strong formula, particularly steps 2 and 3. Do not use steps 2 and 3 more than once a day in the beginning if you have sensitive skin. Slowly transition yourself into this routine or you could end up causing a flare up. 6. I recommend using this at night before bed and not in the morning. It gives your skin time to soothe and calm down. 7. On a similar note, this product will make your skin more sensitive to sun/light. Please wear a good face sunscreen everyday. 8. Steps 1 and 2 have virtually no scent, but step 3 smells a bit odd. Nothing very strong, but I would describe it almost like latex medical gloves? So just and fyi. 9. I have acne on my upper lip so I apply all three steps there, it has caused my top lip to chap and burn so I have had to reapply chapstick a lot throughout the day. Small price to pay in my mind. Overall: If you have been struggling with acne and feel at the end of your rope, for $30 this product is worth a try. But stick to it and be diligent.

Sensitive Skin Approved!
Once I turned 30, hormonal changes started happening and my skin started to break out. I am a person that did not struggle with acne at all growing up, so this was completely new to me. I have dry, sensitive skin. I also have eczema. I am a person that does not use scented products (lotions, creams, anything scented is a no for me). I bought this set to see if it would help after using Curology and it did not make a difference. And it did! I followed the instructions and after about a month, the hormonal acne I was experiencing on my chin, cheeks, and jaw, disappeared. The products were a bit drying, but I made sure to moisturize on top of the entire routine. Whenever applying your skincare, always use clean hands, let your products dry before moving on to the next step (use a fan to speed up the process), and avoid touching your face after to minimize bacteria. This product makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so always use SPF everyday. TLDR; I am extremely happy with the results of this product. If you are a sensitive skin girly, don't worry. This routine saved my skin!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological 3 Step Acne Treatment System
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological 3 Step Acne Treatment System. I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System for a few weeks now, and while I appreciate some aspects of it, there are also a few things that left me a bit underwhelmed. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my experience: Pros: ✔ Gentle on the Skin – One of the things I immediately noticed about this system was how gentle it was. I’ve tried other acne treatments in the past that left my skin feeling dry, tight, or irritated. This set didn’t do that. The cleanser, toner, and treatment lotion are all lightweight and non-drying, which I really appreciated. ✔ Non-Comedogenic and Soothing – The formulas didn’t clog my pores, which is a huge plus for someone with sensitive skin prone to breakouts. The soothing properties, likely due to the inclusion of La Roche-Posay’s Thermal Spring Water, kept my skin feeling calm throughout the treatment process. ✔ Easy to Use – The system’s step-by-step process made it simple to incorporate into my routine. Each product is straightforward, and the packaging is convenient and easy to use. ✔ Good for Mild Acne – After using the system for a while, I did notice some improvement in my smaller, more frequent breakouts. It helped reduce the size and redness of my blemishes, which was nice. Cons: ✖ Takes Time to See Results – While I saw some improvement, it wasn’t immediate. It took several weeks of consistent use to notice any real changes, which might be frustrating for those who want faster results. ✖ Not Strong Enough for Severe Acne – Unfortunately, this system didn’t help much with deeper, cystic acne. My more stubborn breakouts remained persistent despite continued use. If you struggle with acne that’s more than just occasional pimples, this might not be enough to combat it effectively. ✖ Pricey for the Results – While La Roche-Posay is known for its quality, I do feel that the price tag for this system might not be entirely justified by the results. Given the amount of time it took for noticeable improvement and the fact that it didn’t work wonders for more severe acne, it feels a bit on the expensive side for what you get. ✖ Slightly Drying Over Time – Although it didn’t dry me out at first, after using the products consistently, I did notice a slight dryness around my T-zone, especially after applying the treatment. This may not be a big issue for people with oilier skin, but if you have dry or combination skin, you may need to layer a moisturizer afterward. Final Verdict: Overall, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Acne Treatment System is a solid option for those dealing with mild acne and looking for a gentle, non-irritating solution. However, it may not be strong enough for those with more persistent or severe breakouts. If you’re seeking quick results, this might not be your best bet, as it takes a little longer to see visible improvement. While it’s effective to some extent, I expected a bit more for the price. 3/5 stars. It’s a decent, gentle acne treatment system, but not necessarily a miracle worker. I’ll continue using it, but I’m on the lookout for something that works faster and addresses all types of acne more effectively.

I bought this set 3 times already and I have been recommending it to almost everyone I know, I've never been satisfied with any products like this one, I do not use the cleanser everyday. I use the toner every day on all face and then the small tube on certain areas (forehead, between eyebrows and abit top of the cheeks) I then use their other product on all face [Cicaplast Baume B5+SPF]. Beautiful guaranteed results from first day 😍❤️

At first this worked perfectly! The. My skin really started drying out. I stopped using the cleanser and toner and just use the acne treatment and I love it!! My skin has gotten a cleaner appearance overal from my diet and cleansing my body so here and there when I get a pimple I just use the acne solution at night and it's all gone in the morning!! The products in general work pretty good! It's just my skin type

Very good results but would lead to extreme dryness on face for some days.

I like how it is effective and fast fr treating pimples , it makes the skin a bit dry but that is manageable by using moisturizer
