My first criteria in a pedal is spd and on both sides. There are more than there used to be out there, but there still aren't too many 2-sided spd pedals. These pedals are 2-sided and have a great large platform to leverage on as well. Love these pedals. Best pedals I've ever owned, I think.The SPD profile is also very low, so you can easily ride them without cleated shoes if you want too.

These broke just after a few months, really disappointed. I can no longer clip in.

I was really disappointed with this pedal. It has a clunky, sticky cleat engagement in the pedal. It doesn't really offer good foot stability when clipped out and the pedal just hits more rocks than lower profile pedals. I have tried all levels of tension, lubed springs and cleats and the pedals, well, suck! They're not lighter than - and more expensive than - mid-priced Shimano pedals. I would say either commit to an SPD pedal or get a platform pedal. Don't get a hybrid model. I wish I could get my money back but will instead donate to our local non-profit bike recycler.

Awesome pedals. I use them with flat mtb pearl izumi cleats. Came out the box with great tension. Had no issues clipping on or off. Using them on my electric blue giant defy road bike. Blue screws match perfectly with bike color. Love the fact that I can clip off and still pedal because they're semi flat. Nice and wide. I get a lot of compliments.

Nice product! I’m a commuter rider 34 miles a day got these pedals and spd shoes and my watts went up 15 not huge but still shows how much power I’ve been losing without cleats. Pedals are well made can’t give much info on off-road Performance but my avg cadence 88 rpm - 120 rpm and they spin like butter if that helps.

Pretty good looking pedals and hold well once gone through break in period.

Fine-looking pedals match my red/black single-speed beautifully. One can feel the spd mechanism through a standard shoe if not clipped in, but it’s great to have both options.

Pretty decent pedals and theyre double sided clips. Holding up well and for the price good pedals.
